A lot. Due to the fact that I don't have a good PC atm. I'm playing a lot of indie games, and replaying a lot of old classics. Kind of reminds me how many awesome games there are.

Considering Fallout New Vegas is mentioned in the OP as an old game I got a very vague sense of what "old" means right now.
If we say at least ten years then sometimes. Recently played through FFVII/VIII again after I re-bought them for PC and I'm currently playing the FFX/X-2 HD box. Also had some fun with Spyro the Dragon and FFIV-VI before that(Final Fantasy was a huge part of my childhood). I'm very burned out on gaming at the moment, however, so my progress is extremely slow.
Never really bothered with any games pre-Playstation á la 1996 since that's when I started playing games. The few times I played on a Nintendo system before that was at my friends homes, so I don't have much of a connection to them.

At the moment I only have a laptop and a PS2 to play games on, so all my games are old =D
Fallout: New Vegas is really perennial with me. It's the game I find I can just keep on replaying, my strategy nowadays is to go to the F:NW wiki and then roll dice or something to select a random faction and a random three 'tagged' skills. Then I try to figure out what sort of person might have those characteristics and play that character.
For example on my last playthrough I had Ceasar's Legion with Science, Medicine and Energy Weapons as my tagged skills (also I almost always play women). I figured that my character had a complete lack of empathy for other people, but admired those who found the strength to dominate others. The Legion's hatred of Science, Medecine and Energy Weapons didn't bother her, because she saw those as tricks to keep the peons in control. And her ego didn't let her see herself as a peon, instead she was a powerful ally that Caesar would want to do business with, and of course those restrictions didn't apply to her. (The story totally let me do this too. I arrived at Caesar's camp and he actually basically straight up described me as that kind of person).
Final Fantasy X and Dreamfall: The Longest Journey are the big ones for me atm.

Lots and lots! No matter how many times I've beaten Monkey Island 1 and 2, I still get endless satisfaction every time I rig the spitting contest or do the bone dance. I have too many great memories of older games to ever give them up.
To summarize it with an anecdote, in 2012 there was only 1 game I purchased that came out that year. The rest, all games from 2009 all the way down to the 1980s. I play older games a lot more than newer ones, and part of the reason is because I LP games in series from their beginnings usually.

Most of the time. Honestly, if the video game industry crashed I wouldn't care. The older games have much more replay-ability and soul into them. I haven't bought a new game for a long long time. And until games come back into being games again, instead of interactive B-movie experiences the video game industry will never see a dime from my pockets.
I have a lot of game cube games i still go back and play from time to time like Metroid Prime, RE4 and the remake of RE1. and i still have a few physical copies of some PS1 games that I like to play.. RE1, RE2, RE3, Crash Team Racing and Crash Bandicoot 2... I've also downloaded a a few PS1 and PS2 games from the PlayStation store.. like Persona 3 FES,Persona 4, Spyro..
pretty often to be honest I have a massive backlog to get through as well as many old games I always meant to play like Cid Meiers Pirates which I have recently purchased.
I rarely go back further than the SNES era now though.

Anyway yeah, I have been mostly playing older games. Right now, I'm playing through a bunch of the games in the Shin Megami Tensei series. Awesome batch of RPG's.

All this mention of Fallout New Vegas is really making me want to play it again. There's some intangible quality of the game that keeps drawing me back to it. My summer of 2012 was basically defined by that game. Also the DLCs for New Vegas are superb, each one is distinct and brings something new to the table, Old World Blues is probably the standout for me.
I wish my original xbox didn't break so I could play some of my older titles, I remember being quite fond of an Indiana Jones game that was for that console. I also replay Halo 2 now and again, it has my favourite campaign of the series.

I like to look back to when a series/genre/technology was just starting from time to time, so there's plenty of old games I still play. Note that not all of these are where a they started, just ones I still like:
FPS: Wolfenstine 3D, Rise of the Triad, Delta Force 2
Action RPG: Hydlide, Zelda (technically not, but it still had a big influence on the genre)
Arcade/Action: Aquatron (an Apple II Defender clone), N, Dangerous Dave 2

"Old" is really vague. I recently finished Persona 4 for the first time, and I just started another playthrough of Persona 3 yesterday. I also got Chrono Trigger on PSN during the Golden Week sale. I haven't gotten around to playing too much of it, but it is pretty good.
Other than that, it really depends on the mood I'm in. Usually when I get in a mood for old games, that entire month is dedicated to them. Maybe replaying through the Jak and Daxter series, or deciding that I haven't quite had enough Resident Evil 4 in my life recently. Stuff like that.

Often to the point of near exclusivity. Not counting games from last year (unless you really are that rich) most of what I play is pretty-to-relatively-to-quite old. I frequently go back to classics and bounce between more recent titles. Today for example I went through a bit of New Vegas, Duke Nukem 64 and, Doom 64.
