I'm 24 but I think I stopped aging around 19 or 20 and may be mentally regressing to the age of Ash in Pokemon. Then I realize I'm driving to work and not spending every other waking moment gaming. 17 year old: you're only a 'damned kid' if you act like it. Not every teen is one of those composed 'you-act-too-old-for-your-age' kind of people for me to like them but...hm...well if you're a guy maybe. No offense meant.

The thought of regularly conversing with, much less dating someone still in high school makes my ears bleed. And it isn't really a numbers thing, I'd be fine dating someone 5 years older, or even up to 10 years older. And especially for dudes, they aren't really finished becoming dudes by 17. A lot of 17 year olds (who aren't obese) tend to have that "I just grew two inches last night, and my body hasn't adjusted to that yet" look.

That's the part I forgot about...the 'I'm still in high school' part I mean. I understand now and am glad my GF is out of HS. Just a little bit too much drama associated with that but then it is high school so what else would there be.
