Nice as a starting point, everyone else has their own opinions, but I am sure you could flesh this out easily enough for 'missing' games.

It led me to Braid, which I have never played and likely never will. Thus I cannot form an opinion on its accuracy. However...

I am disappointed by the distinct lack of Dark Souls on this list.
This needs to be remedied. Now. I don't care about anything else on this chart, Dark Souls deserves to be on there.

I'm a little disappointed that they had the deciding factor for Kingdom Hearts being whether you enjoy Disney or not. Since I love that franchise and wouldn't necessarily consider myself a fan of Disney films.

If it were me I'd have said "do you enjoy stories that go totally bonkers?" or "is Devil May Cry too hard?"

This would be great if you could click on each game you get to and get a huge list of synonym games ranked by similarity. Oh, and some more strategy games please.

Sukioden II is on the list? Apart from my friend who's a total fangirl for the series, I barely hear anyone talk about it. Kind of surprising to see it here.

This chart is complete bunk.

There are next to no strategy games what so ever in this. No RTS, no grand strategy, turn based squad tactical games. There are no city builders or simulation games. It leaves you only with a few strategy options and you have to work towards them through the chart, namely Suikoden... an RPG... or Advanced Wars... barely on the chart in terms of a real war game and only if you like mobile games. Or Final Fantasy Tactics.

No X-Com (in any of it's incarnations... old or new), no Starcraft, no Sim City (it's older incarnations), no Total War entry, not a single Paradox entertainment game for the grand strategy gamer.

This chart honestly feels like a good deal of pandering instead of actually interesting.
It does have the sims and sim city 2000. Though I agree that it needs more strategy games.

Still is fairly impressive though.

no Company of Heroes or Persona 4?

WHAT IS THIS BLASPHEMY!?

ill give it points tough, that chart got the first 3 game sin my top 5, MGS3S, Shadow of the Colossus and HL2, only missing those 2 i mentioned, plus they got my second favorite game this last gen, TF2

but yeah, i find the lack of an RTS fix disturbing, as well as no P4, tough i dont know where that last one could fit

also Left 4 Dead 2 requires quite a bit of team-play, you wont get anywhere if theres an idiot on your team that always runs ahead

I like the humour, it's a good fun list and would make a good class activity.

"Care to play the possibly greatest game of all time" - Yes - Chrono Trigger (lol)

Oh it's a great game alright.

Also, for you people who are taking this seriously, get a grip. A list like this is always going to be flawed no matter what.

Graph didn't tell me to go play Xenogears, I think it might be broken.
Yeah, but Suikoden 2, FFT, and Chrono Trigger are all on it. Those are some quality games from roughly the same era. This list does need a giant mecha related question. That would get Xenogears in it.

Well, Suikoden 2 is one of those "best games that no one knows about" games. It's easily the best in the entire series, but hard to find (last I checked, the asking price is $200).

Honestly, I'm surprised to see it on the list, too. Kinda happy, though.

The chart proports to describe one or more games as, in certain contexts, "Perfect."

The chart does not contain Deus Ex.

The chart is wrong.

Super Punch-Out is for people with "Average" timing? Yeah, right.

This is an old chart, perhaps updated a bit.

The only way to get to the puzzle heavy old school Lucasarts adventure games is to select No when asked if you want puzzles?

The person who made this needs to scrap it, and start again! ;)
The "yes" route also leads you to Tetris and Limbo, which are far less puzzle heavy than Day of the Tentacle or Gabriel Knight.

Well... I like Silent Hill 2 because it's a terrifying horror game... with puzzles xD Not that getting Limbo the first time was bad, but still. I feel like I had to work harder to get a game I'd actually enjoy (compared to, say, WoW)

ERGO... I don't need a flow chart to help me decide what games I'd want to play because I already know which ones I'd want to play

So, to get to Monkey Island and other adventure titles, you have to answer that you DON'T want to solve puzzles. Huh? And the battles in Fallout apparently involve no tactical thinking...
This chart is bull.

I find it amusing that without aiming to do so, it took me right to Final Fantasy Tactics, one of my favorite games of all time.

It's OK. Not for everyone. For example, it led me right when it suggested Minecraft, so that's good. But then afterwards, it failed rather badly when it suggested two games that I'm just not that into.

Like thinking? Yes. Maximum creativity? Of course. Bam: Minecraft. Dammit, but I'm bored of Minecraft.

[Have you played all these games and are bored of them now?] -> [ Yes ] -> [ Make your own ]
