I'd probably do most of what the OP said, that and I'd probably create imaginary friends.

That might blur the line between sanity and insanity a bit, but I think it would help.

Also, might I ask how long we're in there for? The rest of our lives? A month? A year? A week?

EDIT: I only realized after making this thread that a similar one exists. My apologies.

How would you keep sane if you were captured and put into a sensory deprivation room. No sound, no light, nothing. You are in this room for 24 hours a day. How would you keep sane?

Personally, I would do a few things. First, I would feel my way around the room and paint a mental picture of my surroundings, as best I can. I would either sing to myself, or at the very least talk to myself, that way I can stay accustomed to sound and talking. I would make sure to exercise everyday, do sit-ups, push-ups, and even jog in place. I would recite as much as I could remember from books and such, and I would probably also learn to control my fear. Hopefully this would at-least keep me sane(ish)

What about you guys?
No sound or light? WONDERFUL! I'm sensitive to all the sences. (I can hear BATS. Seriously! o_o) Still, I would sing a song all day or think of why I'm there. Perhaps how I would get out or what to do when I get out. Ey! I finally have time to practise some meditation! It's not like I have something else to do, and the circumstances are perfect!

Sane? Very sane. Now watching a show for days and never see the ending. THAT could drive me insane!

I must not run away
I must not run away
I must not run away
I must not run away
I must not run away
I must not run away
I must not run away
I must not run away

Untill people looked at me like "the hell is he doing?"

You know what'd be worse? Having to watch reruns of Twilight, and listning to Ben Stein or someone like him, read the full saga to you 24 hours a day
