After the first time I played Gears of War, I went around thinking I should shoot those little propane cannisters whenever I saw one. To keep the Kryll away. (Or whatever they were called.)

This doesn't really count, but my friend who is really into Oblivion and I always exchange mundane greetings that we take out of the game. Example:

Him: "I saw a mudcrab the other day."
Me: "Disgusting creatures! I avoid them whenever I can!"
Him: "Farewell!"
Me: "Farewell!"

And then we proceed with the actual conversation.

Shortly after Mario Kart Wii came out I caught myself getting ready to drift around turns a time or two.

I played COD 4 so much that i thought i was actually going to start having war flash backs.

Their was one point where i heard a helicopter fly by and my first reaction was "**** Some One Called In A Helicopter".

Yeah, when I play a game too much and really love it, I have a dream about it. More like a nightmare as I'm actually in the game and its completely realistic. So far I've dreamt about Quake 2, Star Wars Battlefront and Call of Duty: World at War.

Sometimes, when I'm playing Half-Life 2, if somebody comes into the room while I'm playing, I'll actually try to turn Gordon around to shoot at them. This is especially the case when my cat walks in, because he's about the same size and colour as a poison headcrab. I also found myself looking for my zoom button while looking at faraway objects once or twice, and even the flashlight button while walking into a dark room once.

I probably should take a break from that game for a while. Maybe stick to my sandbox games for a month or two, just to get it out of my system.

After playing Left 4 Dead at a friend's house, I took a break and went downstairs to get a drink. As I reached the empty part of the house, I felt uneasy and looked around, expecting a Smoker to pop out or a Witch to start crying.

Another time was when I got back to my house and my roommate was playing L4D and just as I walked in the door, I heard the horde alert sound down the hallway and I got extremely tense for a split second.

The last time I had something like that happen... TF2. I swear I was seeing Spies for a straight week. I didn't trust anyone...

That happens to me, too. Is it a common sound or something because it happens to me all the time?

Usually, I hear it, then get excited, thinking that "Achievement Unlocked" will somehow appear in my field of vision.

One time in gym class during warm-up, I tried to do a 180-turn from RE5. I felt kind of dumb when I just kind of stumbled there for a second.

I have played COD4 so much I have gotten sick of the multiplayer. I will go back to it in time.

It hasn't really happened to me much recently, but I knew I was playing Sonic Adventure 2 Battle too much when I could quote the cutscene before the second level in both Hero and Dark side stories nearly word for word.

I often hear noises from games but it usually is from a game I have not played in a while. For example, I was walking around a while ago and heard the Super Mario Bros coin *ding*.

Anyway, I've been playing Red Faction: Guerrilla a lot recently and my first thought upon seeing a picture of a mansion was "I'd love to destroy THAT with a sledgehammer." In retrospect, a heavy mech would probably be better for that job.
