He looks like him, actually when I first a picture of Gordon Freeman I thought it was him, but I don't think he should have dialogue, being a silent protagonist and stuff.
Holy shit o.o So should we be worried if we ever see him wheeling a trolley near a laser thingy?Soviet Heavy said:No, Freeman already exists. He is currently working at the Large Hadron Collider, planning our impending doom.

Tis true, my friend, tis true. The Amazing Tea Alligator said:I like the optimism and innocence in this thread, gives me a warm feeling.
Due to Valve's hatred of cutscenes, and the lack of reflective surfaces, you never get to see Gordon Freeman's face in the actual games. That, combined with the lack of legs when you look down means that we have no in game evidence that he is anything more than a disembodied pair of hands.JeanLuc761 said:I uh...what's your logic here?Souplex said:There is no in game evidence that he even looks like that, it's all just the box art.
The depiction of Gordon on the box-art is EXACTLY the same Gordon we play as.
Right, but this again begs the question: Why would Gordon look different than the box-art? The box-art is official from Valve; it makes little sense for them to just put some random guy on the box.Souplex said:The box art is the only thing that says he looks like that.
my head just exploded...SFR said:Well, alright, but only if he doesn't talk. If he's gonna talk, he has to be voiced by Ross Scott, maker of Freeman's Mind. Any other voice would sound really weird to me. Besides:

He looks pretty darn close, right?
DING DING DING!!! WE HAVE A WINNER!!Luke5515 said:Any movie, regardless of actor would ruin the character and series.
Like Blue Shift then?Vincent33 said:It would be cool to make the movie from the perspective of some other random Black Mesa employee with Freeman's only contribution to the movie being a couple of scenes where he runs past the main cast with a blank stare and a crowbar. It wouldn't destroy the character and Valve would be able to tell their story from a fresh perspective.
Surely Morgan Freeman's voice with Hugh Laurie's looks and you have the perfect Gotdon Freeman...Hell, you have the perfect human being!Aby_Z said:No. The only person who can fill Gordon's voice is Morgan Freeman. Screw colour, give him the role if there must be one!
