Props on the charity, EA

Still not buying your games. Still not downloading Origin

This is one Humble Bundle that I'll be skipping

well I was thinking off getting into pc gaming but from the looks of things most people seem to have a massive backlog of games but then again you have amazing deals like this!!

I actually think it's a fairly good idea coming from EA. Quite unexpected but I do like surprises and this one in particular. Hope they keep it up.

I bought the bundle, or should I say donated. I don't live in America so I took the liberty of giving most of my donation to Watsi with a little tip for the Humble Bundle.

Got all the keys for both Steam and Origin and even installed Sims 3. Wanted to take another shot at this game since, whatever iteration of Sims I play, I always manage to burn the house/apartment down. Aaand it seems that this time as well.
Oh joy I suck at this game.

Yay! For just $1 you can get a shitty digital storefront installed on your computer! Woooo.

I'm sure they'll sell a bunch of those bundles, but I hope they separate the Steam bundles from the Origin ones in the future. Cross-pollinating the bundle is a bad idea, I think.
But you can cherry-pick... getting five games on Steam for a dollar instead of five on Steam plus one on Origin isn't exactly worth being sad about...
Anything with Origin in it is worth being sad about :p.

Good thing I may choose not t support those charities and just pay the "humblebundle" people, because they provide me with a service that I care about. Cancer? good idea, but there will never ever be a cure for cancer because there is no money in health people.
This is a charity we're talking about. They're interested purely in finding a cure, not making profits (or at least they should be)

Humanity? humanity is pretty sick and no pitty talk or welfare-checks will save it.
Of course we'll never keep everyone healthy, but now's as good a time to start as any. Welfare DOES have a noticeable impact for the people who use it, so I don't see your point?

Red Chross? let's say I know a big hypocritical ***** in there, no thanks.
You can't judge an entire organization off your personal anecdotes, especially one as credible as the ARC (here's a brief history)

That doesn't mean we can't do what we can to lessen it's spread. Doing exactly that is the whole purpose of giving to a charity that makes AIDS prevention its goal. All you've done is make a case FOR donating, not against it.
