Please don't misrepresent me. I brought up in passing regarding a claim you made.

I absolutely do not love this game.

Choose the word you want, but you've been willing to misrepresent anyone who disagrees with you or the game in order to defend it. That sounds like some serious affection to me. I can't think of a single game I feel strongly enough about to do that.

Though you immediately link me to someone who uses "love" right in their headline.

Or rather what I completely fail to communicate.

This entire thread communicates many things, but apparently nothing you wish it to. That's unfortunate, but perhaps you should think about what you're actually trying to say. Your "explanation" doesn't change much. Resorting to excuses for why people don't like the game (which you do even in that second post, accusing us of "falling in line" rather than the more probable explanation that we just don't care) doesn't help any. You got your answer, and it seems you didn't like it. You even have some fairly rabid Nintendo fans in here explaining how this was a mistake by Nintendo. That should be a big honking red flag.

So yeah, I'm guessing this thread has exceeded its usefulness. But I wanted to make one last attempt at both the point of why the game isn't liked and why this thread reads as an apologetic, rather than...whatever it is you intended to do. I'm amazed that there's anyone talking about a development hell game like this at all. Hell, I'm still amazed people are talking about The Last Guardian, and it looks like a far more noteworthy game.

I sincerely apologize if I am misrepresenting anyone. I am fully aware that everybody is entitled to their opinions and that I will certainly not change them. All I was trying to do is put them in perspective. When someone would rather play Vanquish or Bayonetta that is perfectly understandable. Heck anything else would surprise me. But that is true for most games. It explains that persons non purchase decision but not a lopsided metacritic score and otherwise very low level of buzz (positive or negative). Or the Deadpool comparison, I played both games, Deadpool keeps me going with the humor, here there is at least some intrinsic motivation through the gameplay.

And please, I am NOT trying to open those points back up. Water under the bridge. Just trying to explain why I responded to posts the way I did.

And I mean it, maybe a kick in the ass is exactly what that cocky SoB needed. Leaving ya'll with a pic I found. He's alking about NG here of course, but some of the bosses in DT seem to follow a similar philosophy
