Well, about that... what I've come to figure out in my life is that "impossible" means "we haven't figured out how yet". The "laws" of nature and all that stuff are man made, based on their understandings of everything at the time, so nothing says they can't change.Max Goldfine said:It is impossible to create something out of nothing, right?
I don't understand! How did you come to the logical conclusion that just because we share commonalities with the raw materials of the universe (which we do) we somehow created the universe?Max Goldfine said:so after 22 years of life, here is what i can come up with so far.
It is impossible to create something out of nothing, right? so everything that is in this planet, you, me, every partical of existance had to have allready existed in space before the forming of planet earth.
so everything that is inside you is also inside the universe. in a way you are a universe, you are THE universe.
we are the creaters of all this right here.
if life is truly random and chaotic than the only thing that one can be sure of is themselves. it is the only thing that you have control over and can positively without a doubt KNOW.
I am god, you are god. We are god.
Sorry if this is incomprehensible blabber, its late and i'm tired. i think i will watch some ghost in the shell and go to sleep.
Goodnight gods.
Edit: for the record i know this sounds a lot like five percent islam. i draw a lot of insperation from the wu tang on this one.
Double edit after reading some posts: I am not solipsistic. I acknowledge that you exist as your own indepent entity. what i tried to say in this post is that everything is connected. we are all the same amorphus goo. I am you, and i am god, so you are god, and we are all together.
Tripple edit: I have never seen Babylon 5.
That's sort of like how whenever I take a shower in my dorm, the steam condenses on the ceiling and drips back down as a slow, cold drip on my head every few seconds. Thus making me feel both uncomfortable and unclean by the time I'm done. Gotta love the stages of matter.SomeLameStuff said:That was... both confusing and logical.
On another note, since water doesn't get destroyed, only recycled, it is entirely possible the next time you get a glass of water, you're drinking dinosaur piss...
Food (or drink) for thought.
You most certainly are NOT my god.Max Goldfine said:so after 22 years of life, here is what i can come up with so far.

I can't be insulted by these people, this post is too ridiculous to be true.Riff Moonraker said:You most certainly are NOT my god.Max Goldfine said:so after 22 years of life, here is what i can come up with so far.

I swear, the rampant atheism on this site sickens me, sometimes. Heavy doses of atheism and liberalism pepper these boards. I can only hope some of you come to your senses one day. Go ahead and flame away at me for saying as such.
Which collapses in on itself, because any omnipotent being would be able to MAKE themselves omnipresent and omniscient too, else they are not truly omnipotent. Hence a god must be all three.green_dude said:For something to be god, it has to be at least Omnipotent, preferably Omniscient and maybe Omnipresent.
Fixed for sense-making purposes.Max Goldfine said:so everything that is inside you is also inside the universe. in a way you are a universe, you part of THE universe.
