Have you noticed, Vampires and Werewolves are very much adored now? It's very much annoying, since I like dragons, and I think that a vampire VS. Dragon story would rock.

I ask you, Why can't we expand our reach beyond vampires and werewolves?

It's just a trend, it will fade like all trends do.

Same with zombies, they're trendy right now but that won't last forever either.

Also, I don't think werewolves have gotten much attention.

Dragons are too overpowered. They can easily obliterate any opposition - even supernatural enemies - in 10 minutes. As for Vampires Vs. Werewolves... who knows. I'd rather see a story where ghosts of people fight their own zombie bodies or something.
