And they're usually armed.
Is anyone else seeing vampire vs werewolf online browser games filling up the ad-slots?
When you said "they're usually armed", you meant Lombaxes, right?

That's weird. I was just thinking a werewolf vs dragon story would be cool.

Or maybe just a Dragon movie.

We haven't had a good one in a while.
What of Dragon Wars? The best bad movie of last decade!

Last time I checked, there are plenty of stories being made that have nothing to do with vampires or werewolves.

What exactly are you talking about?
Exactly. I haven't seen a movie in years that has vampires or werewolves.

The recent fascination with Vampires and Werewolves is nothing new. It is just another revitalization of an old obsession. Give it a few years and it will fall to the wayside again, only to be revisited later on in life... yet again.
BTW - I am a MAJOR Vampire aficionado and to me Twilight is a disgusting display of self-serving crap. Sparkling? Really? Revolting...
Underworld, however... *drool*

Because Dragons would quite clearly just chew a wolf. And its not like 19 year old emo guys can turn into dragons....Thats a bit twisted.
Isn't that going to be a game, except it's just a normal dude who can turn into a dragon?

I'll see if I can find it...

Have you noticed, Vampires and Werewolves are very much adored now? It's very much annoying, since I like dragons, and I think that a vampire VS. Dragon story would rock.

I ask you, Why can't we expand our reach beyond vampires and werewolves?
because twilight doesn't have any dragons in it.
Nice job TeaBaggin, now they're gonna put fucking dragons in it!

Have we ever had a good one? Maybe Dragonheart, but it has been so long since I saw that I might just be remembering it favorably.

Vampires and werewolves are just sexy to the general audience. Compared to Frankenstein's monster and the creature from the black lagoon we can still fantasize about kinky vampire or werewolf sex because they still look somewhat human.

...What?

OT: Because vampires are so cute and we wuv them. Quote some Twilight fan...girl.

Well there's an animation called "How to tame a dragon" or something coming up. Thats not what you want is it though.

Vampires, wolves, dragons.

They are three things that automatically put me off something. I find them extremely dull.

Never heard of it.

Last good Dragon movie I remember was Reign of Fire. It wasn't terrible but it wasn't that great either.

I love dragons too and the classic vampires ... you know, the kind that DIE in sunlight and don't cast reflections and DON'T sparkle and DO kill people, seduce people and, create harems

Anyway: the problem is splicing. I Love Vampires. I love Dragons. I love Zenomorphs. I love Werewolves. I love Predators. What I DON'T love, is when you try mixing them. The Predatory-Zenomorph was cool. The lycanthropic-vampire was too cluster-fucky. A Dragon that must sustain itself on human blood and dies in sunlight ... could work I suppose ... hm ... DIBS!!

Haha, it's kind of ironic that this thread should pop up just after I decide to give up on writing a vampire novel. I'll probably get round to it eventually, but now my novel is based on twisted fairytales and that's all. Though admittedly I was planning on introducing erewolves eventually to the vampire story, if it became a series...

But yeah, vampires are awesome, I reckon, and dragons are just much less so. Don't get me wrong, I reckon dragons are cool. But for the ultimate in embracing my dark side, vampire fiction is the way to go for me. Dragons just don't have that same appeal. I mean, what can they do, except fly and breathe fire? Although I definitely have a soft spot for swamp dragons... ;)

ANYTHING THAT'S HAS THE ATTENTION OF 10-13 YEAR OLD GIRLS WILL SELL

For example, Twilight, Disney and other shit. Werewolves and vampires went from genuine scares like the old good movies to angsty teenage shit.
