Hello Escapist, here I am at six A.M., starting a discussion.

So anyway, I finished an AVP match last night where it was six predators, versus eight aliens, versus me and five other marines. Species Team Death Match on Gateway. By the five minute mark we were behind the Preds, but tied with the Xenos. The reason? I had fourty of our sixty kills. I had two thirds of the teams score!

I swear I was the only person who knew that bullets come out the very loud end of the gun! *Sigh* No point talking about the past though... so share your stories of how awesome you were as you carried the entire team, or the times you simply couldn't help enough to compensate for the fools of the team.

Ive had times in halo 2 where I had more then 50 kills on a team death match, and our total wasnt past 80...

shit like this happen, so instead of getting angry I just laugh and start shooting at people like a maniac (you know, the usual)

Considering I am an average skill gamer at the best of times, I have never gotten that many kills in a match. I have been in COD matches where I get like 20 kills and my team still loses because everyone else got like six. That always leaves me dissapoint.

Played AVA for a while (F2P MMOFPS) and had one match where I ended with 57 kills. Second place in our team had 11. Last place had 0. Seriously. An 18-minute match and he didn't get a single damned kill. Not even by accident. That takes dedication to sucking.

This doesn't happen to me much in video games; most of the time I'm either doing well like the rest of my team or doing poorly like the rest of my team. But this is also the reason why I never play online multi-player in sports games, I hate being forced to carry the team to victory.

If that kind of thing happens then I don't get mad or blame team mates, most of the people I killed would have been killed by team mates if I hadn't gotten them. I always view it as a glorious rampage though.

There have been a few paintballing battles where I have literally wiped out the entire opposing team. I'm not great at paintball, but the rest of my team and the opposing teams were really shit, and I felt the need to teach them how shit they were.

It was satisfying.

And I'm using paintball as my example because I'm shit at online MP. I have pulled out of MW2 matches to give my team a fighting chance.

Uncharted 2, Elimination on Train Wreck. 15 kills over three rounds (5 to a team). Do the math. I'm not particularly good at the game, but that moment had me feeling rather godly.

I've had Homefront games where I was the only person on my team with a positive K/D ratio, by a long shot, and still my team wins.

Seriously, the score looks like this,

Miles000 48K 3D - Random5 8K 27D
Random1 8K 12D - Random6 5K 15D

and so on.

I spend a vast majority of those games raining hell from above in my Chimera, shouting EAT HELLFIRE!
Whilst listening to non-stop nyan cat.

I don't think it ever happened to me competitevly, but I've often been the last hope for my team in a co-op game like L4D and Uncharted 2.
I don't blame my team mates for being bad, I'm just that good.

I remember having games on bad company 1 where I captured almost every point. Mostly alone.

Man, people were bad at that game. I don't know why it was that specific game, but it seemed like most people were awful at it.

I murdered every member of the opposing team in a shootout in RDR once. 6 of 'em in all, with only 5 (including me) on our team.

I felt like a gun-slinging GOD.

Of course, I was called a modder/hacker/aim-bot/etc.

Gears of war 2, annex. My greatest match on the game, now I'm pretty good at gears, so I wasn't too surprised, until I saw my deaths. I had 52 kills, and 7 deaths. With more then 10 captures and breaks. It was a long ass game, the other team would constantly capture and break the marker, and I'd do the same. My team on the other hand......did nothing.

Also on my last match on Modern Warfare 2 I played HQ and had 127 kills, with I think 40 some deaths. Great way to end that terrible game.

I'm sometimes the best guy on my team, but most of the time I'm in the top two or three or top five or so depending on the teams and the game.

I've had times where I played and was super epic and got 20-30 some odd kills, but my specialty lies in territory maps. If I can take it, I can probably hold it unless grossly outnumbered. I leave my friend to the team deathmatches. I'm much more of a strategic fighter than a tactical one. My friend might be better at the PvP aspect, but man can I win us those territory matches. I've played some on Bioshock 2 that were just emberassing. We beat the other team like...I think the timer is 250 seconds...Anyway, we often won without letting the other team get more than 100. Need a good team to do that though, and my friend and I make an excellent team. He might get more kills, but I die less. XD

There are also the couple of times where I completely destroyed the other team in a lucky ambush or something, but on occasion, I'm able to take them all out on purpose. Of course, I hve to say into my headset, "Why yes, I did just kill your whole team." or on those especially epic kills, "Why yes, I did just rape your face."

A running joke on me and my friend's casual dustbowl server on Team Fortress 2 is us complaining about how much our backs hurt from carrying our team.

It's not uncommon for us to have upwards of 100 points while everyone else has around 40.

On any halo game with big team me and my friend would have three quarters of the kills between us as we made the best warthog team ever hahaha!
