Just finished the novel and I am asking myself, why the fuck did I read this? I need something uplifting now...SweetShark said:snip
The moment you mention was my "I can't believe that just happened," moment as well.

I 'like' it as much as I liked playing Spec Ops: The Line and The Walking Dead.SweetShark said:I am glad that you "played" this gameNouw said:Just finished the novel and I am asking myself, why the fuck did I read this? I need something uplifting now...SweetShark said:snip

Indeed this kind of "like" I expected to hear.Nouw said:I 'like' it as much as I liked playing Spec Ops: The Line and The Walking Dead.SweetShark said:I am glad that you "played" this gameNouw said:Just finished the novel and I am asking myself, why the fuck did I read this? I think it's something I probably should have played when I was a bit more mature though. It's quite heavy and fucked up x_x. I really can't process it all through right now. I'm still in disbelief I played such a game.
Having said all of this, a part of me is glad for going through with this experience. It is unique, and a forum post can't sum up my thoughts.
I lol'd.SweetShark said:Maybe do you want another similar suggestion?
ok then, I suggest you to play also this one:Nouw said:I lol'd.SweetShark said:Maybe do you want another similar suggestion?
Maybe >_>. Okay fine, yeah. I'm not playing it now though, I need to sleep. Although having played that game, it may be a bit difficult.
I still can't believe I played such a game. It's so bizarre and grotesque. Tragic doesn't really do this novel justice.
What about a videogame?Fluffythepoo said:[youtu be=dtZO KGeO lIY]

I think if you start playing "Corruption Of Champions"., your soul will be forever lost....like mine.....MangaVally said:Been looking for some interesting experiences in gaming lately so I'll be keeping an on this thread if anyone else has some crazy/weird/flat out NSFW stuff. I think at last found a game I can play with a big amount of randomness!!!Grouchy Imp said:I agree with you OP, rogue-likes have the largest number of those moments. One that sticks in my mind is a game of ADOM I had a couple of years ago. I'd taken the 'Cute Puppy' quest, which involves a timed dungeon delve into a relatively high-end dungeon for your character to rescue, you guessed it, a Cute Puppy The quest must be completed within an ingame week of the beginning of the game otherwise the puppy starves which means the player must reach the bottom of a ~level 10 dungeon when they'll in all probability only be around level 4 or 5. Add into this scenario that dungeon monsters will attack the Cute Puppy on sight as soon as you reach it's level of the dungeon and this quest can be a bit of a ballache to pass. Well on this particular attempt I'd made it to the Puppy in time, fought my way back up through the dungeon whilst keeping the Puppy safe from attacking gribblies and was two rooms from the exit to the world map with the Puppy dancing around me in an adjacent square when the game generated this message:
There is a *click* from beneath the feet of the Cute Puppy. Suddenly a stream of acid pours from the ceiling! The Cute Puppy is hit by the stream of acid. The Cute Puppy is killed! You feel the death of an innocent being.
-_-
Well. we'll find out when I get the time this weekend to try some of these gamesSweetShark said:I think if you start playing "Corruption Of Champions"., your soul will be forever lost....like mine.....MangaVally said:Been looking for some interesting experiences in gaming lately so I'll be keeping an on this thread if anyone else has some crazy/weird/flat out NSFW stuff. Indeed, it can be be downloaded from here . The game is almost free to download, Mr Biskup (the creator) collects postcards for a hobby and asks only that everyone who downloads ADOM send him a postcard from their hometown as 'payment'.SweetShark said:I think at last found a game I can play with a big amount of randomness!!!Grouchy Imp said:I agree with you OP, rogue-likes have the largest number of those moments. The name of the game is ADOM, right?
Haha yeah, even without the glitches, I felt like Batman was the biggest psycho in --not so much Asylum-- but Arkham City. It was mainly the way he would do a little James Bond-like quip before crippling people for life (assuming they could even survive some of the more exotic punishments you mention.) I think it really added to the mood of AC, though, because I've always hated how Batman is built up as this god-amongst-men that even Superman can't measure up to, but in AC there was a real feeling of his desperation after he got injected with the virus.Kyrian007 said:Several of mine happened in the Arkham games. Batman supposedly won't kill... but if you've played the games you've seen the animation goofs. Batman KO'ing some no nametag then throwing him off a ledge to drown. Batman jumpkicking some random thug into a lightpole, bending his neck to a totally unsurvivable angle. A fallen Batman victim winding up in a position that clearly could only be the result of a broken spine.
