Seriously, does this need answering?
Funnily enough, it's because of the latest ZP. It always lags around ZP time for me.kasperbbs said:Is it just me or does 'The Escapist' lag like hell?
You make it sound as if we're never allowed to play games or something like some kind of catholic backwater ruled by chastity belts.EHKOS said:So Yahtzee's job is to review games. Australia has strict anti-gaming laws. Why doesn't he just move? I mean yeah he's got a business there but he could have put more thought into it before he opened it. So why not move to the UK or USA?

Um... we do have games shops here and they're stocked to the brim with probably everything you will find in an EB Games in the US and not just stocked full of educational games and barbies pony fantasy and Wii games. Sure we're yet to make any serious attempt to pass a law for R-rated games, but that's it. We're allowed to have pretty much anything else - and even then, some of the really popular R-rated titles are simply nerfed a bit so they're allowed an MA15+ rating and the people will still be happy.
Notice how he doesn't review any R-rated games?
Yeah. It's okay, it's really not as bad as you think it is in some other countries other than your own.
Well I'm sure that a good game cannot simply be sold or redeemed by its violence as a feature, but yes, I understand- the full experience of a game should be experienced as it has been designed.EHKOS said:But they do have some of their more violent features ripped out.SIXVI06-M said:You make it sound as if we're never allowed to play games or something like some kind of catholic backwater ruled by chastity belts.EHKOS said:So Yahtzee's job is to review games. Also I realize this was stupid once I gave it some thought. Please ignore my stupidity.
