I don't understand male virgin shaming.

Nice way to prove that sexism doesn't sound any less stupid when it's directed towards men. Thank you.
Oh please, I hate everyone regardless of gender and race.

I don't understand why men who have sex with any girl at all are deserving of more respect than guys who have not.
Even though I'm well past that age where that should matter and I don't have peers who call me out on not pursuing relationships or even one night stands with women, I still wonder why this exists in the first place.
Why does Slut Shaming exist?

Why do women who've had sex with more than one partner get shamed by peers?

It's equally stupid, and yet it goes on.
It happens considerably less so now than it used to, does it still happen yes.... As often? Hell No.

On this topic I like to quote my father:

Guy 1: That girl she's a slut.

Guy 2: Why do you say that?

Guy 1: She has slept with everyone!

Guy 2: Has she slept with you?

Guy 1: No.

Guy 2: Then she hasn't slept with everyone has she?

The truth is when a guy accuses a girl of being a slut, its generally because he wants to sleep with her and hasn't been able to for one reason or another.

When a girl accuses a girl of being a slut, it is usually because they are not yet comfortable enough in their own sexuality to take any action to obtain the object of their desire.

In other words, the use of the world slut reflects more on the user than it does on the person being labeled.

Glad to know ahead of time that talking to you on the subject is completely worthless then, thank you.
As is talking to you about most subjects, if what I've gathered from the threads I've seen you in is any indication.

I ain't the one claiming to be a misanthrope to up some nonexistent forum cred. I actually engage people.
Yes, you do. And I don't care for "forum cred." Posting, for me, is just a way to kill time, and the forum games happened to be slow on that day. Can't go necroing threads from a year and a half ago every two days.

It seems like the sociological reasoning behind prejudice against male virgins has been pretty well explored already, so I'll just leave you with this.
Haters gonna hate.

I like how some of the lurkers made an account to make fun of virgins lol

It isn't a big deal so I don't get why people care. I guess it's just because people are stupid.

You have some self control if you can get to heavy making out and groping and not have sex. I'm just saying, women are beautiful and making them happy is beautiful ;)

That said I am a virgin.

Evolutionary imperative. The definition of evolutionary success is being able to procreate - sex. Males are hard-wired to be the more sexually active gender, hence the expectation.

We really give ourselves too much credit for being "above animals" for the most part.

From an evolutionary standpoint having sex with a women is basically the highest attainable step for a man. It is THE thing you have to do for your genes to survive and spread. You see this back in all group animals where typically the alpha male is the one who has sex with most females. As we fall in this category as well it is not strange to assume there is a certain level of ingrown automatic respect for a guy who has sex, as it from a group dynamic point of view classifies him as higher.

I like how simply stating that you don't wish to pursue romantic or sexual relationships causes several women to throw insults and accusations of sexism
It's not his disinterest in a relationship or sex that caused me to accuse of him of that. It's how he described his interactions with females in ANY situation that does. He said himself he's cold and indifferent towards them. If you act that way towards someone soley on the basis of gender, sorry, you's a sexist.
I thought sexism usually meant hatred of the opposite gender, not just coldness or indifference.
Also he already stated he treats women fine regardless of what he thinks of them, what more do you want?

Actually, you're being sexist if you act any way towards someone based solely on their gender. Discrimination based on gender, or sexism. It is not necessarily negative discrimination.

Heck, greeting a guy "Hello, sir" is sexist because you wouldn't have greeted him that way if he was a woman, now would you?

The people who do that... well... actually finding a girl to have sex with them is their greatest "accomplishment" in life, so they have to insult others to feel better about themselves. It is rather pathetic.

Because the average man wants to have sex. And therefore being a virgin means you've failed to get any. For whatever reason, hopefully self-inflicted, because at least then it's by choice. Or because you're not attractive. Or repulsive. Or uninteresting. Or you smell. Or whatever reason, but there is a reason. And it's probably your doing, maybe you're not going for the girl who offers it because she isn't "special"? Maybe you're scared of losing it?

Well bullshit, nobody is that special, and all you're doing is sticking your dick into someone, it won't last long.

Really not long, about a minute if you're lucky.

And no, I haven't lost mine yet, and i'm 21 and I damn well hate the thing.

Nothing special about it apart from the fact that you're a shit shag and are slightly more awkward in intimate situations.

And you're not asexual. You just don't have a sex drive.

Now go find that girl out there who wants you, because there is one somewhere, and you probably know them, if not now, then carry on and make the best of life before it ends, then when you find a girl you like, go for her, if a girl likes you, give it the best shot you can, it'll probably end, but you'll get another notch on the belt of girlfriends if nothing else, and more experience. Now, what's stopping you telling that girl you like that you want her?

I'm assuming the OP has been shamed recently and is feeling bad about themselves so they made a post to get people behind them. No pun intended.

Yes, a guy who is past a certian age should have lost their virginity, now what age is that should be the question. I was 14 when I lost mine. My buddy was 18 when he lost his. I know people past the age or 21 that have just recently lost theirs. (Even a buddy who has no right IMO of getting laid has gotten laid)

Most men who haven't gotten any by 21 are:
1. Afraid of being rejected by a woman so they just refuse,
2. Afraid of what will happen once they actually reach the point of no return (don't worry guys premature isn't exactally a deal breaker, you can still get it on)
3. Just to lazy to chase after women (or men depending on their sexual orintation)
4. Acually 'saving' themselves for marriage though good luck on fiding a girl who will do the same, cause if you find a virgin girl I promise you within 2 months you'll have her first time.
or
5. Shut in who spend all their time at home on the computer wondering of there's a better world out there
There is!

Edit:
If you have a lot of guy friends, and you get past 21, it should be their mission to get you laid. We did it for a friend of mine, and a buddy who's gone through a 8 month dry spell we're working on him right now. It's Bro-Code so we have to get him laid.

I personally think every guy should at least have had a real relationship by age 21, and at least made it to 3rd base.

This is all my opinion I could be so far wrong in your eyes you're wondering why I posted here. But this is what I believe to be true

I still would have to ask "why", you know.

I mean, okay, if that's what you think, that's what you think, but before I see some kind of reasoning behind it, well, I'm afraid I can't consider the opinions seriously. And well, "reasoning" please, not "prejudice".

Many people have said here what I believe. A male should have that desire, that primal desire, to spread his seed. If you're an evolutionist then it's something that has stayed with us from our primal days, to spread our seed as far and wide as we can. If you're a religionist then it's one of the orders God gave us to populate the world, and thats what we're doing.

There should be that burn in the back of your skull saying "I have to get some" because once you do you'll think "the hell I was waiting this long for?" My buddy we worked to get laid after he was 21, he hasn't stopped since then and says sex is the grandest thing ever. I agree, and it's not just the primal feeling, the the intimacy, it's the connection you get with another person you can't have any other way.

Edit:
Though as for the why you need to be in a real relationship, it's the experince. Be it a 2 month relationship, or a 2 year one. You need to experince that, so you can learn for future experinces. I don't think anyones first love is going to be their last, and you're going to expeince heartbreak sometime or other. It's best to do it when you're young so you can grow more from that experince.
