The other day I realized that I feel old.

Why, you ask?

Well, it turns that a fantastic album made by a fantastic band was made 9 years ago.

What makes you feel old today?

That wasn't that long ago...I remember grunge.

Mobile phones make me feel old. When I spend time with people my age(I'm 23)they are almost always fiddling with their phones for half of it...texting. I don't get texting, hours worth of texting can be made redundant by a 2 minute phone call.

i remeber when Pokemon first got big

i collected those cards, and played the games

one of my fondest memories is playing Pokemon Stadium on the N64

i even remember going to see the first Pokemon movie and crying when Ash is killed during the final fight between Mew and Mew-Two

i still get misty-eyed when i watch that scene

i was also an avid Yugi-Oh! player and can remember winning local tournaments

That's the truth. =] And actually I didn't find much on youtube. I was a bit disappointed.

When I realize that I have been waiting 10 years now for Diablo 3. It also makes me feel old that I only stopped playing 2 about 2 years ago.

I may not actually be old, but I feel like it.
Life so far has been a long, long journey, and it seems like I'm an old man, sitting there ready to die.
But I know I've got a long time left, and I almost don't want to.
I know I'm usually a smartass around here, but thinking about it, I really have been through a lot more than I want to.
I've been kidnapped before, lived a long time alone, I've never had a real sibling other than my mom, I'm an Aspie, thus people are also find me odd, I've got ADHD, I'm Hypoglycemic, I'm just ready to go to sleep and die during it.
But I'm not going to, because though I've certainly not had a good life so far, I know that there is happy memories down the road, and once I die, I'll die content.
Am I depressed? Am I an Emo? No. I'm not depressed, and by extension, not Emo. I know not why, I'm just not. I tend to think of this time as not my entire life, living under hatred and countless problems, but rather a wall. A Wall I that wants me to be depressed, a wall that will win if I commit suicide, it is a wall that will take a very long time to break, but given enough time and will power, I can break.

I will be 26 in April, there's a good reason to feel old. In 4 years I will be 30...that is sooo wrong.

And pop culture wise, I watched the first Aussie airings of: Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Pokemon and CAPTAIN N! Our ninja turtles had personality in those days, too.

I also remember a world with no internet, green computer screens and floppy and hard discs. We didn't have cds in those days. I remember when computer paper was flimsy, and rolled out in perforated sheets with holes running down the sides. I remember beta and cassettes, and even the days you could still purchase brand new vinyl from the music store.

Hmmm, I suddenly don't feel so bad about my age.
