I feel your pain, BFBC2 is really bad on PS3 too (its still one of my favourite games though). I also get connection errors midway through a game. Some games I join and I can't use any of my unlockables and some games ill be flying a helo, lag out and get griefed for killing everyone on board.Cyberjester said:Yea.. Each game gets a team to port it to the PC, too bad it's just that. A port. And given the amount of bugs in BF:BC2, I really don't have high hopes for BF3 being any good. I mean, these are the people who can't even give a login server enough bandwidth to stop people dropping out. After Ubisoft did it. Ignorant is when you act stupid, stupid is when you do something like that _after_ it's already been done.shootthebandit said:there's some decent games coming out. BF3 despite being multiplayer platform is primarily made for PC. homefront is also got a specific team dedicated to the PC port
Difference is, Ubisoft took out the always on so some of their games are now playable on the PC. BF:BC2 hasn't and I'm still dropping out in the middle of games because their login server can't handle it.
No, PC gaming isn't dying, but companies are doing their best to make it happen.
Fortunately Shogun 2 is coming out this year, and Divine Wind should be hitting Steam.. This year I hopes.
Problem is that a lot of the multiplatforms are developed with 360 (due to 360 being more restricted). I still thing PC is most powerful but PS3 is almost there. The difference is BF3 is being devved on PC and ported to consoles. I think 360 version has a few less features.
You say that PC has had some bad ports, consoles have had some terrible ports from PC too there are always two sides to the coin
