In short, the 360 asshats are asshats to everyone. The PS3 asshats all find a worthy victim and make his life miserable. I should know; If I catch you Teabagging on Resistance 2, I will hunt you exclusively until you rage-quit.

I think the thing is with the Playstation 3, because it's so expensive you're less likely to get hyperactive 9 year old idiots. Whereas the 360 is cheaper so more little kids get to have one and ruin the online experience for everyone else.

Good point cause usually it's the 9 year olds that fork out hundreds of dollars for the systems and then set up their online xbl credit accounts...

I have both and a PC, bottom line is that the 360 community when it comes to online chat douchebaggery is the worst out of all of them. By miles.
Although there is a point that it's the games fault as well. Whereas alot of games (which should be known without saying) that are famous xbox titles and also big hitters in the pc world of gaming, tend to share similar...socialistic traits. >.>

So i got a 360 for christmas, so i left my PS3 and Wii rest.
Been playing online games since Diablo 2, and never have i seen so many (excuse the language) arseholes before! Almost everyone i meet on xbox live are pricks who has an urge to swear and make rude remarks every two seconds or people who seem nice for a while but then they start being just like the the others.
Does xbox live really change people? I've never met anyone like this on PSN, so i dont get it!

Depends on the game, and whether you're playing ranked or unranked.

I usually play Halo 3 on social team playlists, haven't had many problems. Back when I played Gears of War though I was lucky to play a match without hearing "Fucking cockshit shotgun whore!" (note: I avoided shotgun use as much as possible).

What console doesn't prove someone is "smatter" than anyone else; only that said console suits your gaming styles / your friends own said console. Neither console is superior, neither user-base is superior.

The only reason this still gets debated is because many PSN users don't use microphones - either because they don't have one or they don't want to hear the idiots that do playing loud music. The Xbox community suffers from a large percentage of idiots, but to say that PSN does not have an equal proportion of trolls is laughable. In fact, the fact this thread is still going after the OP has practically displayed his open fanboy / trollish nature "I've never met anyone like that on PSN" is rather interesting.

Oh I disagree; it takes serious mental retardation to buy a 360 as your primary console. The moment the damn things stop catching fire, or going into RRoD, they start destroying your disks.

Between everyone I know (as in, have had more than five conversations with and can remember their name / user ID) virtually none have any complaints about consoles breaking down... except the ones with 360s. The failure rate is attrocious, and the fact people are stupid enough to pay good money for faulty products and still praise the tech support proves how retard people can get.

I will concede the point of teabagging being doucheworthy, but I've had it happen to me multiple times on Killzone 2. Were they just on holiday from Live or something?

I'll also give you a little story about PSN;

I'm awful, awful at games and have just picked up Warhawk, a game which I knew in advance wouldn't be forgiving. After getting killed for the umpteenth time, I stopped for thirty seconds to blow my nose - by the time I'd picked up the controller, I'd been voted off for "being idle". Now, I know I'm rubbish, but that's the height of beint a twat as far as I'm concerned.
