I have XBOX!! Now what?

So I finally bit the bullet and got an XBox 360 with Kinect and everything.

Other then games, what else can I do with it and how?

From importing myself into Minecraft or give someone really jiggily bewbies, there seems to be a lot you can do with it.

So... where do I start?

Watch DVD's on it? Listen to music? Screw around with avatar creation?

I would otherwise assume the main thing you'd do with n Xbox 360 would be to play games designed for the Xbox 360.

First off, one of the reasons I got an xbox is for the kinect because my room mate has injured both of her hands and can't hold a controller. But she still loves games.

Second, I already have a high end gaming PC, Wii, DS x2, PS2, SNES, N64, and a Game Cube in storage. I have an NES but it don't work no more.

I already have a Blue Ray Player and there just wasn't enough PS3 exclusive titles that appealed to me to justify the system. Plus having my roommate unable to join me on the PS3 sucked.

So an Xbox is like one of the last on the list of systems to buy.

Which is why I'm here wondering what I can do with an xbox that I can't do with any of my other systems

My Xbox 360 actually doubles as a DVD player. It takes a bit to get the hang of using your controller as a remote, but once you've done that you're set.

Poor lady... Is it permanant?... Beacuse once its better you minesweel get rid of the kinect...

Seriously... I haven't heard of a game that is fun on the kinect...

However you get to enjoy a better network and overall service, Procided you pay the monthly fee.

Download the Kinect SDK and start modding!
This way you can make it do whatever you want it to do.

I would say buy and play Bioshock. There are some great games that you have to play, and might as well start with the older ones.

Bonus points. Play on hard, in the dark.

I don't know what to recommend Kinect wise, since there really isn't much out for that, and I don't have one.

Though I will recommend, if you don't already have BioWare's Mass Effect 1 & 2, Dragon Age: Origins(get the Ulimate edition, has everything all DLC), and Dragon Age 2(Don't listen to the rabid people that say bad things about it) for you PC, get them.

If you want a good single player racing game, Dirt should be really cheap now.

Get in on some Halo action. Reach is really good, and if you really only care about single player, then Halo ODST is phenomenal.

Fable 2 and 3 are okay. Other than those and Halo, I don't have too many exclusives.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a spectacular reboot to the Castlevania series, I can't wait until the next one, hope it doesn't take too many years.

A much as people bash the Kinect, don't listen, it is in its infancy, it will take another year or two for something substantial to come out for it game-wise. I would get one with a new 250GB 360 to replace my Elite(120GBs isn't enough space), but I don't have the money.
