Hmm. I see either a TPK (Total Party Kill) or the surviving PCs get captured. Either way, not good.

Yay for next episode anticipation!

Wow, that all went downhill for the party pretty fast...

With miniature-based roleplay games, when a character dies, what do you do with the miniature? Does it get re-used for a new character or do you start from scratch? (I suppose also, how much does what-you-see-is-what-you-get come into miniatures for characters?)

Goblins may be a push-over, but in numbers are a force to reckon with.

The party made a lethal mistake, and you're playing it out to the bitter end. Harsh but fair, I respect that.

I don't think I've ever said this about IHIWMA, but I can't wait until the next episode!

That stinks especially being killed with the Maquital sword club and having the heart eaten. Can't wait to see what happens in the next episode.

Man alive...my girlfriend's gonna' be pissed when she sees this.

My old DM used to throw something like this at us around 4th level just to remind everyone who's boss. If the gals are able to recreate the thrill of averting an intentional party kill then the only experience the show WON'T have represented from my own playing is getting thrown out of a game on account of real life violence.

Now, to be fair, I don't think that Zak's really trying to kill the party, but one could make speculate. And to be fair to me, I warned that asshole at the game I was kicked from that if he didn't straighten up I was gonna' have to give him the pimp hand. These things happen. Sometimes they happen four or so times. Just sayin'.

...Wow. I remember reading that if someone died, that'd be new character time, but daaaaaaamn that was brutal!

I hate forced stealth sections in pen and paper RPGs :p

Zak didn't kill the players.

The players made some choices...and those weren't necessarily the best choices.

I would have liked to see what would happen if they had stuck to their plan.

Next episode now, please!!!

LOL D&D related violence is always golden, I used to have a lot more in my group until i removed the two instigaters. There was one player we used to have that wouldn't stop doing stupid shit (someone seeming to miss the point and trying to 'win' at D&D against the DM) so on occation I'd throw a d20 at him... strangly one week he brought a metal d20 that weighs about 400g/1lb and gave it to me... some people never learn.

And yea watching people experience their first TPK is golden, but they should be much harder to kill next character, and get a caster with some AOE

Ouch... that was tough to watch. I felt sorry for the party.

Did anyone figure out who had her heart ritualistically cut out?

That was actually intense. These situations are the ones that I look forward to, when you choose either the fight or flight and see how it turns out. However, the only dice related D&D I have ever experienced is with IHIWMA (Im learning as I am watching!)

However, I did play quite alot of Warhammer (tabletop figures) 40k (tyranids ftw) and the LOTR series so I can relate to the dice system and situations that D&D players face, just in different settings and contexts.

Great episode!

Nuuuu! Not TPK!

Man, even for a low level party (you're all under 4th level, right?) it sucks losing a character.

Actually, thinking about it, the only character I've lost has been in the Tomb of Horrors... huh...
