I believe it's either level 9 or 10 of Devil May Cry 4 on Dante Must Die difficulty. Simply insane. Not helped that one of my online friends is a master at it and constantly rubs it in my face. ;(

I'm playing gta 4 (AGAIN) thanks to the fact that if you link it with your windows-live account, the saved files must be destroyed according to some fuck-up programmer or whatever. So, getting to the point here... :p I'm now playin the "wrong is right" mission and can't seem to get it right, it's also crap because before the chase you'll have to find him and also takes time. Funny thing is, the first time I played it, I sucked at Brucie's race, but now I aced it the "first" time around :S
Which mission was that again?

For me, Half Life 2, although that was because I encountered a bug that literally stopped me from progressing any further. Since I didn't like thegame very much anyway, I gave up.

Also, Mile High Club on Veteran. I did the campaign on Veteran, and managed it on Hardened, but Veteran really was a bridge too far.

The last level of Heatseeker. Still stuck on it, >3 years after I first played it.

Best game I had on the Wii.

Pretty much the entirety of Nova Strike for me. I have to limit myself to stop from destroying things. Each level is about 30 minutes long with no checkpoints. They all start off rather easy but then at the end of the level is usually something insane that you have to fight and only have 1 life left.

So I only play one level at a time. If I lose, I shut the game off. If I win, I try the next level and repeat the process. Unfortunately, because of this, I'm only on level 5 or so.

GTA3, that last mission on the first island (I think), Bomb the Base or something? Where you have to cover 8-ball or what'sisname with your sniper rifle while he runs STRAIGHT UP towards the ship, which is guarded by a total of about a dozen or so dudes with SMGs. Who kill that bald asshole the moment they see him. Which causes you to fail the mission. I have used every cheat in the book, I charged in headfirst guns blazing, and I STILL can't shoot all those dudes before my retard "friend" decides it's a good idea to run headlong towards a couple of guys with automatic weapons.

On Guild Wars: Nightfall, that quest where you have to free Koss from the Kournan prison. Even if my allies manage to NOT attract all the wildlife from the local watering hole (which is pretty much a death sentence), and I manage to steer them away from all the mandragors and whatnot that infest the savannah, then you have to fight multiple groups of enemies that are about lvl18-20 or so IIRC. Which tends to cause at least one or two deaths. At -15% to your stats for every death. And then you have to fight a group that's twice as big, has at least one lvl20 guy and one lvl24 hero. Who keeps spawnkilling me over and over and over again. Seriously, I'm not even standing up and I'm down again. I'm also lvl19, one level from the max. I think I might need to level up my heroes, but I haven't had to actually grind in GW up until now, the various main and side quests levelled me up quickly enough.

StarTopia, the Kasvagorian mission, where you have to take over segments from squatters. But I guess I just need to be EVEN MORE patient, and build up an army of about a hundred or so dudes (which is a LOT, and I'll NEED it) before attacking. Still, that's very annoying.

Rail of War, the jungle mission. The GODDAMN jungle mission.

I got stuck on one of the many ridiculous puzzles in Onimusha 2 for about two hours and only pride kept me away from the internet!

This one: http://grandtheftauto.ign.com/missions/47/Wrong-is-right I've managed to do this one the first time I played (before the savegames went lost) but now for some strange reason I failed for the 8th time in a row :S

The Favela on Mw2 Veteran has been pissing me off. I HATE THE FUCKING FAVELA. AND all other urban maps
Good god yes. I've been stuck on this on veteran for months. Every couple of weeks I'll think "I should really complete MW2 on veteran". Fifteen minutes and (maybe) one checkpoint later, I give up. At this rate, I'll complete the game by December 2012, directly causing the end of the world...

Currently stuck on the last boss of Two Thrones. I can barely ever get the timing for the speed kills right, and i have it for Wii, so my shake isn't even recognized sometimes. And when i finally get past that, i only have one sand left for rewind, and he always shoots sand at me while i'm jumping or wallrunning. Instant death. I had to start new game just so i could have more sand at the end. I hat ethe game for not refilling it for me before the fight.

The licenses (International B/A/Super license)

I remember bunking from secondary school alot and one day doing the licenses to do more events. And so started my tradition of giving 'wall syndrome' to a great many controllers on my PS1.

I feel your pain brother!!! I could never beat that mission

For me it would have to be that one mission in Rogue Spear, the one where you have to set up routes for the teams to go and you can't get caught once, fuck I never beat that level

The final bonus dungeon in Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks.

Even with 2 potions the waves of baddies just wear you down in battle after battle after battle, much like Cave of Ordeals in Twilight Princess but much harder due to it including all of the bosses too, plus you can only carry two bottles. Phyclops remains the hardest boss in the game and I think Cragma has had a speed increase or something because he's as far as I've ever gotten even though I beat him easily the first time. If there's something even remotely challenging after Skeldritch there's no way I'll ever beat it.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced, I've been stuck on Maetus(Think that's its name?) for years now. I probably could beat it if I could be bothered to grind. I'm just not that big on the grid based battle system though.
