I like Call Of Duty

CoD's alright. It's like Halo; the single player's nothing special, but the multiplayer is very accessible and lots o' fun. You don't have to spend weeks playing to get good at it like you do with Counter-Strike, which is nice. The last one I played was the first Modern Warfare on PC, and I've avoided all of the crummy console ones made by Treyarch so my opinion is a bit biased. But yeah I remember enjoying Modern Warfare, I just ended up maxing my level out and unlocking everything pretty quickly because the guns don't really have much recoil compared to other FPS games. My only complaint is having to hear "OUR UAV IS ONLINE" every 5 seconds.

I'm quite indifferent to COD personally. I just don't have the right mindset for FPS gameplay.

Fuck tuna fish. Tuna fish has been going down hill since the first sandwich. The second sandwich was pretty good but after that all the tuna fish has been the same. It's like they're just trying to get you to buy the same tuna over and over again.

Sure, they'll throw onions in the tuna salad or add a little mustard, but it's the same fucking tuna every single time.

I only eat tuna when it's made by Valve.

There's nothing wrong with liking CoD. I like CoD 1, CoD 2 and CoD 4. I really hate all the rest though.I have to admit futuristic CoD sounds interesting. I'll keep my eye on BO 2.

I also used to like Cod, nothing wrong with it, it's a fun game and most people on this forum are not going to go crazy over the fact you like it. Most of the Cod hate is directed at Activision releasing the same game every year not that it's bad since that is debatable.

Although I suppose it is fun to play along.........................So I like COD and think all your other games are crap

It's not so much that CoD is "bad", it's just they release a new one every year with barely any improvements, and without fail, the prepubescent male population goes apeshit for it. And there's just nothing particularly special about it. It's just the twitch-shooter of the consoles, and twitch shooters don't work that well on consoles. I really feel that the main reason it's so popular is that Activision has nailed down addictive game mechanics similiar to what Zynga and Blizzard have done. The "leveling" system is the most obvious and shameless example of that.

Also, the single player in MW3 was godawful. Probably the saddest excuse for an FPS campaign I've ever seen.

I don't normally attack other people's preferences, but... I assume that was the point of this thread.
