I like the escapist forums because the people usually do not become fanboys at every single thread and the advice given is sound.

So why do you use/ like the escapist forums?

I've spent the past 20 minutes or so trying to find an old thread I made explaining why I liked the Escapist but I cannot for the life of me find it.

So, lets just say, it's fun, it's an incredible place with an incredible community, I've made some really good friends here, I've found some very cool things and the amount of total asshats are outnumbered by about 500 good users to one asshat.

And if I find that thread, I'll edit in a linky for ya.

I don't know, seems to be a relatively intelligent forum, at least the portions of it that isn't aimless teen kibitzing. If there's a better place to go, I've yet to isolate it from the infinite space of the Internet.
