No worries, venting helps a lot. Your captcha reminds me of a joke: What does having sex in a canoe have in common with American beer?
I don't know, what?

Even if your anxiety isn't that bad, go get it checked out, anyway. Always better to be on the safe side.

Off-topic: We have ANOTHER new Captcha system?
Yeah, I'll probably get a bottle of meds and never use them much, but yeah.

Yeah, the one where you press play and it plays a random load of words, now in quite amusing phrases, thankfully.

I can deeply appreciate that joke after being late to a party and only having Coors Light left to drink.
Ewww. I think Sam Adams is just about the only decent beer we've ever made, micro breweries not withstanding. Bet you were never late to a party again.

Yeah, I just lug my own bottles of cider to parties now. Never trust anyone else in the world to give you quality alcohol.

Good policy. Don't have to worry about who owes who beer and you always get what you like. Anyway, we should probably cease and desist before a lock. I seem to be a master at derailing things lately.

I often run into this problem where I don't think about how hurtful my words could be before I say them, this has led me to many situations very similar to yours. I can tell that you probably meant no harm in what you said, but you friend seems pretty upset. I recon, no matter how silly it seems, a big heartened apology is what you need here. Whist I don't think you will be able to communicate on that level again, well at least not for some time, I think you may be able to fix up your friendship, or at least keep up some civil communication, if he is a good friend, this will all eventually blow over, if he isn't, well who needs bad friends anyway.
