Champions Online? It's mostly free. They make you pay for costumes and shit, but that's pretty much it. It might not work on your computer (it's pretty graphically advanced), but it was the only one I could think of.
I'm saving up money for a gaming computer, i just want something my freinds and i could do. they have not-so-good computerstemplargunman said:If your laptop can barely play runescape you need a new laptop
i have tried all those listed. didn't like themBlatherscythe said:You could try Adventure Quest, AQ worlds, DragonFable or Mech Quest. They're all 2D with modifiyable graphics, but they are also repetitive and rather boring after a while. I would stick with Runescape to be honest, it's the best F2P MMO out there for a reason, it doesn't stick to the mould that most MMO's do and it is rather user friendly.
From my experience the best free to play MMO that runs well on a laptop is Mabinogi. It is free to play with a cash shop but it is not pay to win. Probably the only thing you would actually want to buy from the shop is a mount which are usually $10 and you really don't need one (This coming from someone who played before mounts were implemented). The world is fleshed out and pretty big, the story quests are interesting, and there is very little grind. There is a small bot problem but they are usually in out of the way areas. Also the dungeons are a bit repetitive but that is only if you just grind one over and over again, which you really don't need to do.Dediles said:tried that dont have the system requirements.standokan said:Dungeons and Dragons Online by far and it´s free

Wouldn't you be wanting Eye of the North with that?Hatchet90 said:Guild Wars Trilogy is a great choice. It isn't free, but it certainly is cheap, and no monthly fees!

It being a partybased game doesn´t have to be that bad a thing, it actually is one of the main reasons I play the game, though I have to agree with you on the whole free thing, it sucks.Lawyer105 said:No, no it isn't. See comments on LotRO above. Oh yeah, and it's pretty much a party-only game. It is NOT solo friendly unless you've got several high level toons involved in raiding already and can gear up a specially designed twinked-out solo alt.standokan said:Dungeons and Dragons Online by far and it´s free
this is fun, i'm playing and loving it. but your laptop might not be able to play it :/Radeonx said:All Points Bulletin is in an open beta, and will be free to play. You could try that.
runes of magic is a good wow clone, and in some ways is a better wow clone than wowDediles said:I need a new MMO. i used to play runescape, but now i want something different. it needs to be free, FUN, low system requirements, and easy for my friends to join in.
while we're here whats your favorite MMO?
EDIT- my laptop can barely run runescape on high graphics
