Play Halo: Combat Evolved to bath yourself in a veritable rainbow of alien circulatory fluid (punch a corpse for a BLOOD BONUS!).

Gears of war,COD world at war, left 4 dead, Fallout 3.

If you claim there are no bloody games then you have not looked very hard.
I've played them and they are not satisfying enough...
Deadrising,Team Fortress 2,Dead Space, Resident Evil 5.

There is so much blood in all of these games that if the blood was real we would never need another blood drive ever.

Have you played COD: WaW? When you kill someone with a shotgun blast at point blank range or a grenade kill, it blows off their arms and legs. If you're really lucky you'll open up their chest and see their ribcage and lungs.

I like well-looking, realistic blood that FITS the game.
What you have seems like a mental problem: if you really need to see blood and gore that desperately to enjoy a game, you have a problem.
And the blood spatter on the wall when you shoot someone in CoD4 is anything but small. There's quite a lot of blood coming out. If you think that's not nearly enough, then you definitely.

Well, in CoD4, the participants are all supposed to be wearing several layers of body armour and such, so maybe, it's enough to stop the bullet coming out of the other side and spraying blood all over the wall?

Just a Guess, I'm no ballistics expert.

Gore is pointless I would much rather have a game with great story or game play or a new and original idea..... Gore I found only really pleased my younger brother, when I got my first vats head to pieces shot he was jumping around the room talking how awesome that was, I was just pleased that the vats mechanic, My brother smiled in pure glee as I blew something up with a milk bottle screaming "GOT MILK.... BTCH" while I liked how I now had a infinite ammo source. When I chainsawed a locus in GoW he basically when nuts over the amount of blood, I found it totally inconvenient.

Do you see what I'm getting at here?

i like blood and gore and artiriel spray as much as the next guy in the nut house, but even i have to say there is more to a game than blood and gore, and i own plenty of games under an "M" rating, such as...um...oh crap, i dont own any (recent) games under an M rating...
alright, you win

Blood is indeed quite awesome. I've often found myself wanting a dismemberment to occur when I shotgun blast someone in the shoulder, only to have them come back after the recoil animation, both arms still firmly attatched. And to anyone who calls such a desire psychopathic/insane: so? It's fun as hell! I stood over one dead enemy in SOFII, just hacking away with the knife, until I'd found every single dismemberment point on the figure. It was sheer bloody joy.

Hm, if you're serious this is kinda worrying.
But it sounds so over-the-top...
Well, whatever.
To me, gore is completely optional. I don't need it but I don't mind it, either.
I don't understand why you'd measure the game's merits by the amount of blood, when there's real issues to talk about but, well, to each his own.
