I need help on picking a band name?

I once saw the cd cover of a nazi punk band and they were called The 4-Skins.

Except The 4-Skins weren't nazis and they were an Oi! band not a punk band...

Actually now that I think about it I'm not sure what the point was, or whether there really was one.

If you want to call it Four to Doomsday I'm assuming it's at least somewhat metalish, so I would call it "The Iron Brigade". The Iron Brigade was a Union brigade that suffered the heaviest percentage of losses of any fighting force in the American Civil War. Seeing as you're located in England, that might not be a great name for you, but it does sound sort of cool.

4chan's /b/ board is teh best at naming bands. Just snap a quick photo of your band and post it there. They come up with the most CLEVER stuff!!!

Those are different. Similar names are allowed legally. Also, depending on the sound you guys have now, your guitarist's ideas might not be that bad.

I really dislike when people make threads like this. A band name is supposed to be a collective identity reflecting you as a group. How on earth are you going to get that by asking random people on the internet to string x amount of random words together?

Put some effort in man! It will work out better in the end because the band name will truly be yours.

sounds like a metal band? i presume? if it is, cool for you, how about "legion". this is an awesome name because i'm sure you've heard this quoted from the bible somewhere in pop culture "i am legion, and we are many" this refers to all f**king hell breaking loose in the wake of armegedon. not metal enough for you? each of you in the band, assuming there's four of you, are the four horsemen. honestly, there's nothing scarier to me than the idea of the four horsemen, the bringers of doomsday. do your research on them, it's really cool.

but if you're like, a *ugh* screamo/metalcore band, just shoot yourself, that was so 90's.
