Wait, that's what ArmA has been missing all along :O , to the modding tools!!!!

I once played a (homebrewed I think) Jetpack game on the GBA.
It was terribly simplistic, had crude graphics (Your character was nothing more than an upside down L) and was as absolute blast.

Think destructible environments somewhat similar to minecraft in an Atari setting with rockets, floating mines and C4.

I'm sure it's been modded in multiple games and simply not noticed.

I've actually used a Jetpack in Operation Flashpoint, one of the precursors to Arma. It was ridiculosuly fun to fly around firing the mounted Uzi. To be honest though I think we all killed ourselves with it more then we did the enemy.

Ah yes I remember that, along with the Matrix exosuit and timberwolf walker, ah memories..... Well dur it was more dangerous on the user than the enemy, we wouldn't have it any other way. The hilarity that ensued xD
Yeah I think I'll do a quick jetpack mod for ArmA 2/3, watch this space ^_^

Red Faction: Guerrilla has a jetpack you can unlock just over halfway. It's useful and sure makes smashing down buildings heaps fun.

Tribes Ascend, guys? C'mon. The whole thing about that game is the jetpacks.

They weren't powerful enough for me.

Also, Blood Dragon doesn't have a jetpack?! What a wasted oppurtunity! Does it at least have the wingsuit?
