I'm 15 and I still play Pokemon. I played at least one game from each generation, and I'm excited for Black and White to come out. My brother's a fan, too. Last Christmas I got a new Pokemon game and he played it before I ever got a chance, and he was 25 at the time.
My favorites have to be the Eevee evolutions, especially Jolteon and Vaporeon, I always have at least one of them on my team.

I know what you mean about Quilava. When I first played Silver, ages ago, I was so disappointed with Typhlosion. I ended up replacing it with a skarmary. In soul silver though, I wised up and stuck it with an everstone asap.arc1991 said:JEALOUS!

I'm the same way with Marril, but that's just because he's freakin' adorable and his evolution is so dopey looking. One time I was at a LAN party avoiding the fact that my laptop was incapable of playing any of the games and my marril leveled up. I started shouting "No Marril, don't you dare evolve." I got laughed at by those playing LFD2, but there were a lot of understanding looks as well.
Where I live we tend to have ice storms that leave you stuck in the house for several days at a time. A little bit before the season hit, several of my friends decided to restart pearl and diamond. I hadn't played pokemon since emulators at boarding school where we couldn't have gaming systems. Right after a few of us bought it an ice storm hit with power going in and out. Everyone else was quite jealous of us during the occasional black outs.
That was about a month before SS/HG came out. So yeah, we pretty much looked just like comic in the end. A bunch of college kids with tiny pokewalkers trading gifts. I do miss vulpix, though. I guess I'll just have to break out Ye Olde Pokemon Stadium and play the pika cup.

My favorite Eeveelution is definitely Umbreon. Best mixed wall in my opinion. My moveset on Umbreon is literally designed for the sole purpose of angering people. It has Mean Look, Toxic, Moonlight, Confuse Ray. If something gets put out that I can't directly deal with I just poison stall it to death, lol. It's such an obnoxious strategy.CJMacM said:

I play pokemon. One of my favourites is Gallade also (along with Heracross, Lanturn and others)
I have been playing from the start.
My opinion to why People seem to prefer the earlier ones is that Red/blue is probably nostaglia and gold/silver were made to be sequels and not random short standalones with the latest generations.

Probably, I do tend to lose a lot of p2p battles. I played the old games on one of these sexy beasts. Everyone else in class had little Gameboy pockets, no connectors to me. woo, snorlax all the way. he fits my personality. we are both fat, lazy, and we love to eat as well as kick butt when necessary.
