The metric system. Everyone else is moving the decimal point while we're here with our calculators, trying to remember all the different bases we tried to set up. And good chocolate, I love Hershey's but dammit Cadbury's is so much better.
I've been in this thread awhile trying to think of what I can't get here in Indiana, but it seems that the Midwest of the US gets most of everything that is great in the candy and beverage world. At one of the grocery stores near me, they have a beer sampler section. I can't remember what the price is like 7 or 8 dollars, I can look through a massive selection with my six slot cardboard carrier and pick out what bottles I want to try. It doesn't matter how expensive the beer is, the six pack will cost the same. I've tried like 25 different kinds, and that is maybe a quarter of what they have to select from. I haven't done it lately because it is a luxury of course, not having the money to throw around. Though lately I seem to always go there on Sundays. It is quite embarrassing to not remember that it is Sunday and then walk up to the register, they take it away from me, and tell me I can't buy it.Rakkana said:I live in England so the chance of me getting one is very rare. Which is a terrible shame since it's my favorite drink. I've only drunk it 5 times in my life which is probably adding to the fact why I like it so much.
Looks like you have just disappointed a lot of other countries in this thread. Because, a lot of them have been asking about Vanilla Coke in America. I use to like it when it was being sold, but I ended up getting sick of it.TheYellowCellPhone said:Vanilla Coke... man that was my favorite soft drink, but they got rid of it in America. I'm not sure if it is sold in other countries though.

You aren't alone. I haven't been anywhere in the US that still has it in restaurants. In fact, the only way to purchase it here is in twelve packs of cans at the grocery store.Frequen-Z said:I was going to say something along the lines of Firearm laws or related things, but I'll be damned if you haven't rekindled my desire for Vanilla Coke. They stopped selling it here in the UK years ago even though I loved itNazz3 said:It used to be Coke Cherry. But they came recently here![]()

You sure your not thinking of 7up?
Whereabouts do you live? The last time I saw Mountain Dew was in Southampton, a few crates of it stacked on the shelf of an offie.
