The shit part is, this area is not yet in coverage of the most decent Internet provider, and now I'm using a CDMA modem-thingy which is a miracle if it even hits a 500kbps speed T__T (plus a quota of 500 gigs per day)
Uhh, isn't a quota of 500 gigs a day good? Extremely good? Or am I missing something here, cause in New Zealand its more like 60-90gb a month.

Really? Nobody has said masturbate?

Other than that, you could get some sea-monkeys. Watch them grow up. Yup.

I'm guessing he meant 500MB. If it was GBs he would have to download at a constant 46Mbps all day to use it.

EDIT: How do you only use 60-90GB. I use like 400GB a month or more.

My favourite ways to kill time are to take long walks, read and meet people.

Also lulz at the guy recommending Fallout 3 to the guy with the Fallout avatar...

This'll be tricky... you'll need a void blade which vibrates fast enough to cut a rift in time. When that happens, jump through the rip and run straight for the bastard...stick a spear through his pendulum heart.

Find a creative outlet. Don't just kill time but spend it doing something interesting and productive with yourself. My old roommate used to decorate his dick and take pictures of it for instance. You know, little hawaiian shirt and hat with a tropical backdrop, etc. Typical photographer.

I've been beaten to the punch, but TV Tropes [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage] will suck all your time up. FOREVER. Just type in your favourite TV show, movie, game, etc. the site will do the rest...

Non internet stuff: go make some friends and do stuff with them. I hear Hunger Games is a good movie, go see that. Take out some books out of the library and read those. Get caught up on those movies/books/shows/whatever that you've been meaning to watch/read/etc. for quite a while.

Take up cooking!
Cooking is awesome, and cheap if you let it be, but it's mostly delicious.
It doesn't need to be recipe cooking either, you can cook whatever the hell pops into your head.
A few weeks ago I was sitting around, an evening with absolutely nothing to do, then I had an idea. "Why do we always wrap the ground beef in bacon?" I thought, "Surely one could do it the other way round", and in two and a half hours, Burger Wrapped Bacons was born.
It was delicious.

But remember, cooking is fun, but it's always better if you have someone to share it with. Whether it be friends, family, or sultry bar maidens, always share your cooking with others.

Cafes, Clubs and Bars.

(Geeky girls do exist, and you'll kill some time)

Or you could just hermit and play some games.

If you haven't already, try your hand at programming, it can be really fun if you're making things you like. Especially games.
Programming is fun until you start doing it at University, and then it becomes tedious. Who knew Python could be so uninteresting? Damn University...

OT: Play World of Warcraft? Mists of Pandaria looks like it'll be quite entertaining.

You know, something always confused me about the whole "go look for a job" thing. Sure some people can do that but what about the people that already have 12 applications in and are waiting to hear from someone? Are they supposed to run around their town randomly asking people to hire them? How exactly are you supposed to "go find a job" when half of job hunting is waiting to hear about your application?
Putting in 12 applications and sitting around on your ass is not looking for a job. There is far more to it then just that.
Such as? I am seriously curious because apparently I and everyone I know, have been job hunting wrong for years.
