I would be a merchant in Rivet City. It's safe there. I would occasionally go out on trading expeditions though.

I'd probably be an explorer, traveling to ruins of buildings and settlements and taking what I can from then. Find a nice underground area and set it up as my own horde. Try to find stuff like DVDs, Video games, stuff of old that wouldn't work but would be my personal collection. I'd trade stuff for caps and ammo though, because there's only so many places left untouched and uninhabited by others

If I could find an empty Vault btw, that'd be where I kept my stuff

Would probably mostly do repair-type work. Probably settle down rather than scavenge myself - let someone else brave the mutants for a few bits of scrap. I'll buy it from the ones that make it back, fix it up, and sell it to all the would-be badasses gunning for one another.

Hrm, okay.. good luck with that. Slavers are the ultimate scum of society, they take over when everything else falls. They are the most ruthless and mechanical people that society has to offer.

Damn right! In the event that fallout came true, I still couldn't bare to work in slavery. I like to thnik that I might buy a big rifle (guass!) and hunt slavers, but i'm too much of a coward for that.

Really I honestly think I'd be some kind of guard; living in, and defending, a large population center.
