Exactly. You ps3 owners have Killzone 2 and Resistance. And we Xbox 360 owners have Halo 3. Despite how much I hate that game.SwampCandle said:No, never.
Why would any of us PS3 owners but it anyway? We have Killzone 2 and Resistance games.

Hahahahaha that's a good one. Sadly, Killzone 2 is no more a Halo 3 killer than Killzone 1 was the Halo Killer it was touted as back in the day. I really wish it had been, but it ain't.runtheplacered said:Ps3 has a Halo 3 replacement already, I thought. Killzone 2.
Mazty said:I actually disagree there. Killzone 2 is a technical masterpiece, but it is not a Halo Killer.Wargamer said:Exactly. And Resistance 2 could easily be replaced with Killzone 2.
Resistance 2 is a Halo Killer. So much so that Nathan Hale activates the Invisibility Berserk, Phantoms Master Chief, stands over his corpse with the Rossmore aimed and says "Real men don't teabag; we have sex with real girls instead!" before blowing the Space Marine's head off.
Killzone 2 is a very different animal. It feels much more like Gears of War to me, in that the emphasis is not "lol i cn pwn j00 wif jump-shot n00b!", but rather "Hellboy307, drive them out with Grenades. Dethshot, get to the wreaked car and set up enfilading fire, I'll hold here and guard your six."
Whilst Killzone 2 is a far more satisfying game all-round, when you're jsut after a quick burst of mindless violence Resistance 2 is better.

That said, both systems have a Halo 3 killer. COD4
Killzone 2 has better graphics.
Killzone 2 has better audio (7.1)
Killzone 2 has better gameplay (Cover system, no back tracking)
As for the storyline, Killzone 2 is more realistic, but that doesn't make it better, just makes it more realistic.
Killzone 2 easily is a Halo 3 beater as it does much more for the genre considering their relative release dates. Having played both when they were first released, I was genuinly dissapointed with Halo 3, whereas Killzone 2 gives the genre a much higher benchmark to aim for.
u are forgetting forge and the movie maker type thing and the way in wich the game are played for instance in reistance 2 team deathmatch 60 players it is just runing aimlessly looking for someone to shoot at when u find them u of corse u start shooting but wheil u are fireing there is a big chance another player from ur side or theres will come along and help u or them whiel in halo u will proble ending up jumping around throwing granade around the corner and its very much a 1 on 1 most of the time oka sure in R2 u can have smaller match or play skirmis but its the small diffences that makes the game. things such has how powerful is a punch or if u move dose ur accuracy go down or stay the same that and the way u can has very custom custom games(and i tought resistance 2 graphics look bad just the way they where presented it look really stupit to me anyway)Wargamer said:Hmm, let's see...Breno said:it seem people hate halo 3 just cause people with it always go on about how good it is i myself dont have a 360 but i love it and i would buy it if it came to ps3 would u?
ofcourse there no chance of it happing
Inferior graphics to Resistance 2.
Inferior weaponry balance to Resistance 2.
Inferior weaponry in general to Resistance 2.
Smaller games than Resistance 2.
VASTLY inferior single player mode to Resistance 2.
No Class-based gameplay, unlike Resistance 2.
More bugs than Resistance 2.
Less Character Customisation than Resistance 2.
Where, exactly, is the reason to buy this game AT ALL, let alone if it hypothetically came to PS3? The only thing it seems to have going for it is you get vehicles, which is not in itself always helpful; go try playing Warhawk as a footslogger, and you'll soon be sick to fucking death of vehicles.
You do, of course, realize that not every one who doesn't like Halo is a fanboy, correct? Some people just don't think it's a good game. Like I said, I don't understand what's so great about it, I find it pretty average, but to each his own, I suppose.Psychosocial said:I already have it, so no.
Anyways, do you really expect any of these angry PS3 fanboys to say yes? That would be like Poland saying I love Germany during WW2.
