Alright, as tired as I am of going over the same points again and again, let's do this one more time...

Inferior weaponry balance to Resistance 2.
QTF? How are the weapons unbalanced? I have never encountered any problems with the weapons balance in Halo 3.
Resistance 2 - if I want to snipe, I spawn with a Sniper Rifle. If I want to shotgun people in the face, I spawn with the shotgun. If I want to nuke someone with a massive Laser Cannon, I have to give up the option of having Invisibility, half damage, rapid-healing, double-damage or any other Berserk bonus... and I only get two shots with the big Laser.
Halo 3 - if I want to snipe, I have to find the Sniper Rifle before anyone else. If I want to shotgun people in the face, I have to find the Shotgun before anyone else. If I want to nuke someone with a massive Laser Cannon, I have to find the Spartan Laser before anyone else.
How is "First come, first serve, fuck the rest of you" more balanced than "every weapon is available from the start, balanced against one another, and the super-weapons are earned in place of alternative super-abilities"?

Inferior weaponry in general to Resistance 2.
Again arguable. Resistance 2 does have some impressive weaponry, but then again....that's the main draw of the game! Halo 3 has the standard fair of FPS games, and has some unique and interesting additions.

Halo 3's weapons are dull as fuck, and broken when not dull as fuck. To name but a few weapons of Resistance 2...
CARBINE - a Machinegun with an underslung Grenade Launcher.
MARKSMAN - a "baby" Sniper Rifle that can fire lightning balls.
BULLSEYE - A rapid fire energy weapon that fires homing tags, drawing your shots to the target.
AUGER - A plasma cannon that fires through solid matter, and can produce energy shields.
WRAITH - A Minigun that can produce energy shields.
FAREYE - A Sniper Rifle that slows time for the user [except in multiplayer].
SPLICER - A gun that fires circular saw blades - it's just like Half Life 2, only this time you can rev the blade so it keep spinning inside your victim! Finally, it works like a chainsaw too!

Smaller games than Resistance 2.
Fair enough. Resistance had larger online matches. But then again, Xbox Live is MUCH busier than Playstation Online/Home. Trying to run so many matches of a larger size would cause hell for the servers; remember, Xbox Live has more than a handful of games online that people are playing.
I've seen at least 50 unranked games on at a time for Competitive alone... and over half were 60-man games (and full / near full ones at that). We can't track how many Ranked games are running at any one time.

VASTLY inferior single player mode to Resistance 2.
Definately arguable. The quality of game play, especially that of the single-player experience, is all obviously personal opinion.

All my friends who own a 360, and own Halo 3, agree the solo play mode was a failure. Nobody I know who follows the Resistance series feels that way about Resistance 2.

No Class-based gameplay, unlike Resistance 2.
This isn't such a big deal. I prefer to look at it this way; Halo 3 has much more
fluid gameplay, with players in co-op not forced into a specific class.
Like was said before, Halo 3's co-op is "lol i play on ma own wiv a n00b followin me!"
Resistance 2's Co-op is "Soldier, get that Wraith up front! Medic, keep the Soldier alive! Spec-Op, give the Soldier some ammo then snipe!"
If you want to run around as the medic trying to gun everyone down, and not bother healing, you can. You'll lose, but you're free to do that. Teams that win in Co-op, especially on "Superhuman" difficulty, win because they play as a
team!

More bugs than Resistance 2.
I have played quite a bit of Halo 3, and have never really run into any bugs. Hell, I've barely encountered slowdown.
As said, see Youtube.

Less Character Customisation than Resistance 2.
Thank God, IMO. Halo 2 made the mistake of trying to make me give a crap about the Arbiter. Try and cram too many characters into a game, and it becomes one of the latest Sonic entries, or nothinf but fanservice like MGS4.
Well done, moron, you missed the point!
Halo 3 customisation = "My armour is Red/Blue/Green/Whatever and my shoulder pads are Red/Blue/Green/Whatever and my Helmet is Standard/Samurai/Retarded."
Resistance 2 customisation = "I have over a dozen body types, a dozen head types, a dozen backpacks, several dozen accessories and
on top of that several full-character kits that give us a special pre-made character layout, all of which ensuring I need never look like everyone else, even in a Team game."
