Vampire. Hands down. (The cool ones, like in Oblivion.)
I assume you're talking about the vanilla vampirism system in Oblivion. Well, unfortunately, the vanilla vampires (including you, the PC as a vampire) sucked. Don't see my point? Well, then explain to me why it makes any damn sense that a vampire should have to deliberately starve themselves to get stronger, only to be forced to feed on someone to avoid dying and then losing all of their abilities until they starve themselves again. Fortunately, there were plenty of mods that fixed this... Anyway, back to the original topic of discussion for this thread...

I only know the fourth one. I?d be the tough older character who is wise and kind hearted with a troubled past. Especially since in most of these games the ?Old man? is like 30.

If life were an RPG (an RPG modeled after a good single-player RPG, not one of those boring MMO's), I would be a mage/thief that would "borrow" other mage's spellbooks, copy down any of their spells that I didn't already know, and then write down a few of my discoveries in their book, before returning it. Okay, I guess, I'm thinking more in terms with the classical DND model than any particular video game, but still. In many fantasy settings, mages tend to hog their discoveries to themselves, and, in my logic, if magic is ever going make a real impact on the world; magical discoveries need to be shared, not hidden away on a dusty bookshelf.

What do you mean you'd commit suicide if life was like a JRPG Chibz? JRPGs are the absolute best!
If it was a JRPG ... other than Disgaea, then. I'd commit suicide to escape the horrendously feminine main character with oversized sword, the acrylic paint colour hair (that is also damn insane looking), and the predictable, poorly written, rail-roaded plot.

Wait, a REAL rpg or a JRPG? If it's a real RPG I'd be the chaotic neutral bard who just doesn't give a shit.

If it's a JRPG I'd commit suicide until I STAY dead.
A JRPG is also a real RPG.

I would be the Demi-Fiend kind of guy.
JRPGs aren't "Real" RPGs in that instead of focusing on player-propelled character development, they are focused on pre-written (and often horrid) plot. Also, unlike a true RPG they tend to have almost no replay-ability. IE: Almost any Final Fantasy game ever made.

I would be the person with the XP Growth ability which allows me to remain reasonably strong without making any effort.

If TES styled, I would jump everywhere I go. In Morrowind I had a habit of doing that and by level 20 I had 100 acrobatics and could practically fly short distances. If it is classic "get xp and then put skills in whatever" then I would probably never get past level 1 unless they have non-combat xp.

If real life was an RPG you'd have to talk like this:
Oh great wizard of the tower of Azura, how fares your great quest which ponders you to the great gates of Oblivion?

I'm a little weak but super fast and really athletic but I'd think I'd like to be a NPC.
A NPC that heals you during fights and can use a move to destory your opponent in one if they survived several good moves.

I'd also have great one liners and cool hair. :D

Some JRPG's do that and have a high replay value.

Just because most Final Fantasy games are bad RPG's doesn't mean that all RPG's from Japan are bad.

I'd be a Police Officer NPC who's sole purpose is to keep you from killing off all the townsfolk. Of course i'm fairly weak to start and I never get any stronger. Eventually you either ignore me because I can't hinder you in any way or you kill me. But since i'm generic I respawn after a few days and you come kill me again.

I'm really glad life isn't an RPG, it would suck for me.
Don't police officer NPCs in RPGs just tend to stand around to tell you off if you're trying to go somewhere that the story doesn't want you to go yet? A lot safer but more boring.

Nor did I say that they ALL were bad. I listed a trilogy that is quite playable. But really, if reality were to become a JRPG and I don't immediately turn into a demon of some sort... I don't take my chances.

If it's like Disgaea, I stay FAR AWAY from the main characters unless I am recruited to join them. In which case, I will probably become more powerful than a GOD.

I would be the prophet of the impending doom awaiting us all, i'd wear a tin foil hat and no one would click on my character for dialogue because they think they've heard it all before.

Funny thing is though, because it's an RPG i'll be right about the end coming, Only thing I didn't bank on is those insipid heroes buggering the whole thing up and saving the world...

That's right! The tin foil hat guy is the ANTAGONIST os the story all along!!

Muahaahahahahahhaha!!!

In all honesty I'd be a wimpy class that does more damage from far away(Mage, Healer, Summoner, Gunman, ETC.), that or a Bard who plays spoons.

Clik-clak-clikety-clikety-clak-clak! "Hah! Now my friends cause more damage! suck on iiiiiit!"

Real Life IS an rpg... you play the role of yourself in this magical land called 'Earth'. Using the magic of your 'science' you are able to perform superhuman feats like lifting cars, or destroying buildings.

Welcome to real life. :)

If real life were an RPG, I'd level grind the crap out of myself until I could destroy with the wave of my hand.
