Some type of war-based game, because undoubtedly it would be one of the first releases. Haven't you ever seen Toys?

There's one thing I've always wondered about virtual reality games? Do you control exactly what your character says, or is your character's dialogue scripted as well. This becomes even more relevant with this thread, where we'd be playing VR versions of pre-existing games. So would our mouths just start saying things automatically and what would that feel like?

There are certain games that I would never want to play on VR. Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth would be terrifying. Especially the chase scene in the hotel. That was intense enough as a screen, let alone an experience.

I would love to see Final Fantasy Tactics done in a virtual style, where I'm actually yelling orders at everyone as Ramza, with the world fully rendered in the type of graphics used for cutscenes in The Lion War PSP remake. The only problem with turn based stuff like that would be waiting around, standing there. But I feel like playing it in VR would be a little more actiony.

An MMO definitally, maybe WoW. I just wish there was a way to preserve your brain in a tank after death and connect it to a video game world, boy wouldnt that be something. Take all the fear out of dying if you ask me.

After that Mass Effect. I wouldn't follow the story or anything, would find some way to get to the Asari home planet....giggidy.
Haha. You perv. XD

I would want to play Assassins Creed. Leaping from building to building and assassinating people in Jerusalem would be awesome.

Ok virtual reality come a reality...
To be honest mate, VR technology already exists today. Sure, we don't have the fancy photons and forcefields of Star Trek but it still exists. Albeit, there is a lot of bulky equipment involved and the equipment used to 'feel' things isn't 100%.

But still, if holo-decks were reality though I would make my own game. Why stick to the 3 walls of reality in the form of an out-dated game. VR would be best suited to things like MMORPGs such as SecondLife, which I would certainly take up. With VR MMORPGs can also take up the ability to make combat worthwhile, sword in one hand shield in the other.

I would also try out Rome: Total War and the other games in the Total War franchise as it would give you the chance to experience life on the line as a Roman soldier or Commander, and many other interesting aspects.
