To create a amendment that would limit the number of terms as senator or representative can serve to 2 and would ensure that these representatives could not earn more then the minimal wage of pay in a single year regardless of source of income. So, collectively, their government pay check, investments, private pay checks, campaign donations and any other form of income could not equal more then the national minimal wage.
I thought long and hard on this matter, pondering it from many points of view before going the serious route. Some of the biggest problems concerning the US government comes from the fact there are 'carrier politicians' whom have turned the whole legislative process into nothing but a cash cow they can milk for every cent of personal gain. If it isn't directly supporting a large corporate body for campaign contributions it is hiking up their own pay checks every chance they get.
Legalised corruption....
