If you could erase one game from your memory to play it again what would it be?

Bioshock. First time I played through that game i went at a snails pace because i was so scared. Now it can't even get a jump out of me... Also i want to see Rapture again for the first time.

I want to wait for the MGS collection, then erase my memory from the whole series and play them again.

Half-Life, the original, as well as its expansion packs. I played through OpFor recently and took down the final boss without breaking a sweat because I remembered exactly how... Not quite as exhilarating as dancing around his nuclear breath trying desperately to figure out how the fuck to beat this giant tentacle hentai monster the first time around...

Shadow of the Colossus.

I really want to play the game again, but I'm almost afraid that it will sully my memory of it, so erasing my memory of it and then playing again would be a favorable option.
it stays amazing no matter how many times you play it.

OT: Kingdom Hearts. that game is just stuffed to the brim with meaningful lessons and such, and i'd love to re-experience the initial wonder.

Dragon Age
Mass Effect 1 and 2
Oblivion

Just because they were awesome the 1st time and when you play a game for more the 80 hours it gets boring.

Fallout 1 and 2, Planescape and WoW would be among the top ones. First three to be able to discover all the little secret, easter eggs and fun little things and WoW, because it was fun to get the first kills after sometimes several nights of trying.

Probably Guitar Hero and Ocarina of Time. Guitar Hero: beating a song that was previously impossible is very satifying... still need to to Through the Fire and the Flames on Expert... But anyway, and OCarina of time is better than ANY other Zelda game i can think of; the story is great, the characters are witty and imaginable, sure no one ever talks, but for the N64, I would evpect nothing less.

learning how to play Skate was more fun than playing it when i got good at it, so id say that.
or Shadow of the Collossus only because i had heard nothing about it when i got it and was amazed to say the least.

For me it would have to be Oblivion. I've been meaning to play the last few days but I think I'm just gonna get bored in 10 minutes so I've been leaving it. Oh and Portal, Half-Life, KOTOR 1+2, Halo 1,2,3+ODST, Fallout 3 and FF VII.

BioShock and System Shock 2. Then start by playing System Shock 2 and not fucking spoiling the peripeteia because the game sucks the first 5 hours.

And of course the entire Half-Life series.

Portal, Bioshock and all the Halo games and Oblivion.

Each of these games are fantastic in their own way but nothing truly compares to that majestic first time playing that makes you realise how much you like them.
Yes, all of these!

Every Metal Gear Solid game.

I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it.
Yes, especially Metal Gear Solid on PS1 during the part where you have to input the 3 card keys. I hate having to do that bit now KNOWING what's going to happen, it feels kinda pointless. I'd love to play it again without knowing!

I'd also add Silent Hill 2 to the list, although the scares are definately still there, nothing beats the feeling of wanting to stop playing because it's shit sacry but being unable to because you want to know what happens!

The Resident Evil REmake on the Gamecube. That game was the perfect mix of trends from the first four games and the last time Resident Evil was done right. Wonderful game!
