I would get the guys who made Hod-Hand to make it, since it would be a brawler/beat-em-up with Action Adventure influences. Usually, I'd go for pure Action-Adventure, but I want a good "Hokuto no Ken" game, so... yeah. As for gameplay elements... lots of special moves (because the show has them).

It's a pipe dream.

An RPG made by bethesda in the way fallout 3 was made but 5 times bigger and with amazing DLC. It will have a cyberpunk, steampunk, and anythingpunk you can think of. All the weapons will either be bad ass or lulzy.
Zomg, evry1 wants a cyberpunk or steampunk game, if even just in part. :O
Developers should listen up cause a game like that would blow my mind. >.<

The Chronicles of the FinalGamer, an adventure where inbetween chapters it's point-click and the chapters themselves are various parodies of games such as Streets of Rage, Sonic the Hedgehog, Clock Tower and so on.
I've been having ideas on that just for fun.

Hmm, hard choice. It would be a game which revolve around a combination of FPS, RPG, and RTS gaming. It would be a huge sandbox world, which constantly evolved not only in response to what you did but also on its own. The levels wouldn't specifically be designed for you to go through them, ie, there wouldn't a convenient trail in the middle of a forest unless it made sense, or rocky cliffs wouldn't have clear paths to go across. You wouldn't be told what you were supposed to do, and you would be able to complete the game in as quick as five minutes or 80 hours depending on what actions you took, as well as the current position of the world. The FPS parts would be done by Valve and the RTS part developed by Relic/Blizzard. The RPG elements would be an extremely in dept character customization to the likes of which I can't describe. There also wouldn't be a story arc. Instead you'd just be plopped in a giant world about as big as earth and the point is to live your life until you died of old age. Every other time you died you'd start the game over from your save point. It just be a giant world with thousands of people and thousands of places and you could just what you wanted to, with no restrictions whatsoever.

It's a complete pipe dream.

I already thought of what the game I dream of would be like the problem is it took an hour to record all my ideas so it will most likely take more to describe it on paper. But it would definitely be an RPG and sandbox

True, which is why it's so strange that there are so few steampunk games in the world, it has a pretty big fanbase.

An RPG game, in Oblivion's style of leveling up and whatnot. It should have some great, graphically intense environments. The environments would vary quite a bit from one another, for example steampunk cities and vast, nearly empty deserts. It would be humorous, and yet still have a serious, powerful, and overall original plot. Other than that, the map would be overly extensive, it should be highly dynamic and constantly changing, and when you do things, the world should respond to it in some way or another. The game would be dramatic, and feature things such as betrayal and love, and as the mood of the main character changes due to these things, so the gameplay would be affected. For example: If your character is enraged, you may move faster and your attacks may become more powerful.
I would almost say to make it an MMORPG, but I hate it when everyone is the main hero.
No mother fucking guns. Guns take half the skill out of killing people, because it gives you a chance to use distance to your advantage, and also get one-shot kills too easily. Bows would be okay.
There would be a realistic amount of gore in it, as one person can only bleed so much. Overall, it would try to be pretty realistic, and yet continue to include all the non-realistic things that can help a game out. For example, part of the main storyline may be about killing giant monsters, possibly similar to the Colossi in Shadow of the Colossus.

It wouldn't be a hard game to make, it's just that developers need to be more inspired than they are.

Open world. If you can see a building across the city you can go to it.
Oh ok thank you.

I would love a GOOD Rpg/mmorpg based in the RIFTs or possibly GURPs setting.

Talk about diversity in race and class combos, not to mention in enemies to fight factions and counter factions, THAT IMO would be the greatest of all games.

I think its because it would be very hard to make a good, detailed steampunk game that would entertain its entire fanbase...:/
Tho, wasnt that new rpg for ps3 steampunk-ish?
Uhhh....what was it? Eternal Sonata?

That's quite a bit of what I'd like, apart from adding FPS and RTS elements. I'd also like the non-story thing, but my game would probably still have bosses to kill. You can live your life, but there are still places to go that could probably be called dungeons and the like, simply because you can go there, defeat some great beast, and be declared a hero. It's possible, it would just take a lot more work than a story-driven game.

Eternal sonata's not steampunk is it? There is a game coming out some time this year or next called Edge of twilight which has a pretty strong steampunk vibe though.

What I mean when I say FPS is that the entire game would be done in first person. You'd never see things from a perspective other then your own. Come to think of think, don't know why I said there would be RTS elements.

the elder schrolls where they make the entire world and more than just one or two voice actors and rubbish little convos, caracters should hav proper convos and you should be able do what u want like just get a little job, i wouldnt get one but you should hav the freedom/choice to do so. And it should have a rediculas amount of weapon, magic and combat style choices in the game. It should also contain an absolute epic/original storyline, like get somkeone like JRR tolkin to write it or somethin lol, but it should also be really long, and contain a massive 100 man war or somethin

So basically TES oblivion/morrowind but bigger and better
