September of last year. I have a lot of stuff I want to redo. It'd be easier if I could talk to my old self though instead of going back. Tell him that girls are trouble..... (dammit)

I wouldn't. This is an awesome time period to live in ;3

If I had to though, probably prehistoric.

1997, to talk to my parents.

Three words, INVEST...IN...GOOGLE.
Better yet, I'll go to my parents in 1992 and say Invest in Microsoft, Google when it comes out, Amazon in 1997 and Apple before they announce the Ipod.
Now that, is a plan. Hell I'd have them invest in EA when it comes out too. That beast will never die.
Forget EA! What about Rockstar and Bungie! Nintendo was before my parents got together and I'm not telling them to invest in Nintendo before I was born to make a potential time paradox!

Pessimist man here! What if you don't have a game career? What if you're Jack Thompson's assisstant?

Make a list of important sports events, write down scores and go back in time. Invest all my money in the scores and win big.

I'd go into the future to a period when man has invented the two way time machine. Then I'd find out what the future holds, jack a time machine and cheese it when the time cops come for me. Hum... time cops [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2lrPc7c65I].

I would go six seconds in the past, kick past me's ass, get in the time machine, and repeat.

Over.

And over.

I'm being an optimist, not a pessimist.

Besides, I can hope for a good and fun career without being slammed, can't I?

Hey, I'm just joking. I can't tell anyone else what their life is going to be like.

Uhh, I wouldn't, too many risks. Now, if I could go then I had the option to come back but then it was over, I'd just go to a Queen concert.

To borrow from Patton Oswalt, I would go back to hit George Lucas in the head with a shovel before he came up with Jar-Jar.

I would gather up all of my money and go back in time to the 1900s when a small amount of money went a long way. I'd also invest in all of the companies that were just starting then then that are huge now.

I'd go back to 1990. Eperience some of my favorite bands ever first hand when they were just blossoming. Maybe make a few stock investments (google). And I'd still have the majority of Today's modern technlogy. AND I could experience Y2K properly, instead of being 5...

I'd go to the future, of course.
Better medical care, longer lifespan, new technology...

As long as someone hasn't blown it all to hell.
As you step out of the time machine, you hear the following:

"War. War never changes."

Me? I'd rewire the machine to transcend space as well as time. Hello, alternate Steampunk universe.
