If you owned your own Game Development Studio what would you call it? And if so what kind of game have you always thought of making?

I would call it T4. It would make lots of shooters ranging from single player adventure shooters to MMOFPS games. Probably some zombie games and definitely some post apocalyptic games in there.

I'd sell it to a separate gaming company, and then proceed to make millions of dollars helping a big name place make games.
I'd probably make games that mix genres.
More open world RPG's, with new and original settings, games like Borderlands, but totally different concepts, and some other things.

A. Game studio.
We would dip our beaks into a little of everything to see what our strengths would be.

I'd call it Storm Studios.

And we would be making 2D adventure games, like DotT and Monkey Island.
And they would be awesome.

Cha-Ching, and we roll in the money from the awesomely stupid "casual" puzzle games we sell to kids and their mums.

"Mass Exploiters". We'd make shitloads of cash by continually making sequels for franchises that should just've been left when they were at their best, and by making sure all our top board members look as close to lizard-people as possible.

Big Pig Productions
Named for a massive pig the I once saw on a field trip when I was five. It was really, really big okay?
I'd make 2 games for the iPhone to start, one would be pretty much highly addictive digital heroin, and the other would be a crazy artsy one to build up some street cred with the hardcore gamer crowd. Then I'd release a top down game PSN or Xbox Live, then an FPS, then an old school arcade game with some kind of twist, then a couple of TPSs, and maybe an RPG. Then, after after about fifteen years in the business, I'd release my magnus opus, which would combine everything I'd previously done into one package that would seriously threaten to cause the universe to implode through the power of its awesomeness.
That's my awesome business plan.

I dreamt of making video games since 6th Grade and the name I had in mind as a 10-year-old was Dragonfire Games it sounds dumb but its so deeply rooted in my brain now I can't imagine naming a studio anything else. As for games I don't know its so damn hard to be original in video games these days, everythings been done.

Snow Fire Studios, we would buy the Sonic series from Sega to end the cycle [http://www.halolz.com/2009/05/07/the-sonic-cycle/]. With any luck, and possibly some black magic, we would make a good Sonic game. After this, we would make a wide variety of games.

Rolls right off your tongue
Based on my last name, we would make games about gangs in the 60's/70's where you play the roll of Timmey, a badass and edgy dickwad.
You would go around beating people up and the game would reward you for doing evil shit, such as kicking puppies, children and the ill
The game actually turns in on you (like Grand Theft Auto's wanted system) if you don't do evil. Also the game constantly judges you so eventually you because so obsessed with what the game thinks about you, you become maniacally depressed and kill yourself

Plus there's going to be a sequel for everyone still alive

I'd call mine Tempest Strike studios. We'd do all that we could to mix it up with games that try to incorporate art with an enjoyably fun experience. We'd make games that are worth scholarly criticism until there was an actual gaming canon.
