If your computer were a car, which make would it be?

Intel Core i7 @3.0 GHZ
12 GB Ram
ATI Radeon 5870
Dual ASUS 24" high-def monitors
5.1 Surround Sound speaker system
Other things I don't feel like listing.

That said, the thing a few years old and is freaking huge. The hard drives tend to move a bit slowly as well. But it has lasting power and I'm pretty sure it could take a bullet for me and keep on running, and that's where the Hummer comes from. Power and versatility, but a bit slow and heavy.

My PC was:
- Increadibly expensive.
- Increadibly silent (as I use it for music production, as well as gaming, etc).
- Increadibly fast. Scores a 7,9 on 3 out of 5 parts of that Windows Performance Index thingy. The other 2 parts are a 7,7. 7,9 is currently the highest possible rating a machine can get.

An electric car with one hell of an engine that can match the fastest cars in the world. They don't really exist yet, now do they?

I've got no idea. I have 0 knowledge on cars, and therefore have not the slightest clue of how to convert PC specs into automobile specs - which I guess is like most people in this thread, so W/E.

Either way, for anyone with suggestions:
-i7 2600K OCd to 4.8Ghz
-P8P67 Motherboard
-12Gb RAM
-2 * 560Ti 2Gbs OCd by around 150MHz Shader clock and 275MHz Memory clock
-1 * 250Gb SSD Read and Write speed of approx 550Mb/s, 1 * 300Gb SATA 7200RPM Harddrive and 1 * 200Gb SATA 7200RPM Harddrive
-Chaser Mk 1 Case with all fan slots filled + Blue LEDs + Fan Controller
-H60 CPU liquid cooling
-2560*1440 60Hz Monitor
-Standard Mouse and Keyboard

Not top of the line by any means, but it gets the job done at 60+ FPS for everything, so I'm happy.

Custom made, cheap and slow, but its efficent.
Using basic parts from a older car, and no space inside.

In Australia it was sort of a "thing" about twenty years ago to take a 242 Volvo and drop a 302 ford V8 in it. Mine is a bit like that only with a warm 351 Cleveland with a big four barrel and 4-2-1 dual exhaust. Plain looking (Antec P193 with modified side fan) but with plenty of grunt (i5 2500k @ 4.5Ghz 8Gb RAM GTX580 and SSD) even it does use slightly older tech.

Core2Duo E7300
Nvidia Gforce GT 440 1GB
2GB RAM
160 GB Hard Disk
I think it would be:

It runs most games well at Mid-High settings and is fairly reliable. I am planning on upgrading to Pentium Dual Core G620 when I get the money.

What would qualify as a Prius?
What would a tablet qualify as? A motorcycle or a Hot hatch like the Golf.

Mine is a personally built desktop that has the power to rival Alienware systems available at nearly twice the price I paid for the individual components.

AMD Phenom II X6 3.4 Ghz (not overclocked, haven't had any reason to)
dual Geforce 550 ti cards (2 GB each)
16 GB RAM
100 GB SSD for the windows install
dual 500 GB HDDs in a RAID 0 format for other applications.

As for the model, I suppose I'd go with the Nissan Maxima

Not incredibly impressive to look at, particularly when compared to the lamborghinis popping up, but packs a surprising amount of performance in.

My PC - Custom Built, large and not especially pretty, but fast and a brutal:
Haf X case
Intel i7 2600k (o/c to 4.5GHz turbo)
MSi GTX580 Lightning
16GB RAM
yada yada yada

and my laptop:
New MacBook Pro. Fair bit of grunt and looks pretty. A good machine, very friendly to those who don't know the difference between a CPU and a GPU, (differential and a carburettor, using the car analogy if you'd prefer) but just as useable for someone that does (though they'd probably get something else).

My computer is like an early Lamborghini Gallardo.

Sure it looks nice and it is fast, but its dated and was overrated from the beginning.

I own an Alienware.

4gb of Ram
Intel 3.2Ghz duo
BFG Nvidia Gforce 250 GTS 1gb OC
2TB HD

This post made me chuckle a bit, but true, Alienware is overrated for the most part...

OT: This is my computer would be.

Fairly reliable, looks pretty neat, got some power.

I did a double-take here. You do know that those things weren't produced until 2003, right? Last I checked that car was barely a glint in the eye of Luc Donckerwolke during the mid 90s.

I also have an Alienwave compauter.
I'd hazard a guess that we have the same desktop PC. Alienware Aurora R2, right?
For my laptop, I have an Asus, so it's something like a BMW, sporty, but not extremely powerful.
