Attitudes like this is the reason why shooters take the "safe" route and do the same thing over and over.

I've gotta admit the way the walls came apart along the block lines in the first video was just beautiful. Everything broke in a way that seemed "right". I just kept watching and getting closer and closer to the screen to absorb its awesomeness.

I find it hard to believe this game will NEVER see the light of day... I had BETTER get a game like this soon! Hear me game developers?? We were supposed to have environments like this a long time ago!

Here's the reason for the cancellation given by a really angry person:

"Unfortunately the art director and artist who worked on these resigned from the company when Paul Steed and Exigent an outsource studio were brought in to help with management, this was a disaster Steed was a drunk and abused the employees verbally and physically he was eventually fired by Ignition. The blame falls all on the shoulder of Vijay Chadha ceo of ignition who from the start put a 24 year kid named Jeremy Stieglitz in charge of the whole studio a boy barely out of college who could not even balance his check book let alone a multi-million dollar AAA game. Stieglitz spent millions on getting employees to little s**t land Gainesville Flkorida paying thousands to fly them down for interviews and hiring no talents and giving them outlandish salaries. The biggest mistake of all was when Vijay Chadha CEO with pressure from UTV their parent company and the 60% Disney shareholders suits wanted Ignition to present a premature slice of the game "Reich" to MICROSOFT AND SONY, the visuals werent ready nor the game play as it was all a mess. Chadha who was known to be a defender and friend to the creative spirit bent and got plugged in the ass by the Mouse. In the end 23 million was wasted on poor planning, untalented managers greedy producers and on a game director who was still wiping the milk off his mouth from sucking on his moms tit.
Janus by the way was the name of the original hero of the Reich game."

That was in the Youtube description. You should read them.

Looks good, but I'd bet on a lot of FPS being like this very soon
If theres a possibility that more FPs games would be like this, than please, make more FPS games like this! That was fucking incredible!

Holy shit, that was amazing. I wonder what it was going to be released on, because it looked like it'd make your average console or PC hardware cry.

It's a shame it got canceled, there aren't enough good games with telekinesis anymore.

i just hope that somebody gets to works with the technology in the future, I'm a sucker for throwing stuff around

Problem is that by the time this would have been released the brain-dead masses would start hating this game just because it's the a new and fresh and doesn't have chest-high walls

So being unimpressed by a fairly typical looking shooter leads people to make more....unimpressive typical shooters?

Haha, it looks like a more graphically pretty version of Boom Blox. Still looks fun though :)

By typical I assume you mean things like CoD.
Name another FPS that uses TK to that extent, this isn't a typical case.

I wonder how much of the game was made. If a playable build were to get leaked, it'd be fun to mess around with.

Though if this stirs up enough interest maybe someone else will finish it. Hell if Duke Nukem: Forever can be finished, why not this.

Seems kinda obvious why it was cancelled; this would have been way too much fun to be legal.

Wait... that's a terrible reason to cancel a game!

Oh I want it so bad, I would buy that in a heartbeat. It looks like a First Person Force Unleashed x10 with Red Faction Gurrilla thrown in there.

This is the concept car problem it seems.

Buisnesses are hesetant to take risks, so the more awesome stuff is normally left out. like telekinetic rock throwing into abraham lincoln ^_^
