I'm grounded for that? Really?

I never really got grounded, maybe a few times but not very a very lengthly sentance. I usually just got my ass whipped, I'm old enough to come from that sacred time when hitting your children for disbehaving was perfectly acceptable... even in public if the need arose.

I got grounded for racketeering and extortion once. Dammit, Mom! Just because your oldest son ran an organized crime ring at a middle school doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to go play baseball with his friends!

My parents have only ever grounded me for grades. I didn't even technically get grounded when I got caught smoking pot. They took away my car for a week but I could still walk places and get picked up. My parents were awesome. Haha

I have honestly never been grounded. To this day my parents said I was always well behaved; whenever other kids would get to run around and scream like lunatics, me and my sister would sit down, be quiet, and listen.

I think I got grounded once for not doing homework or something. Other than that my mum used to hide the cables for the PS2 until she got home from work, she ended up hiding them so well she forgot where she put them one day. She bought replacements and never hid them again.

My parents weren't the "grounding" type anyway, they were more into corporal punishment, which worked like a charm. Apparently I was a dick for the first few years of my life and apparently I've been somewhat of an angel since then /smug
