Imaginary Creatures- Assignment help needed

Ok I need some ideas for my animation project ASAP. I have 1 week left in order to do so.

I need to come up with a creature that is suitable for children or Teens. I need to know its main habitat, enemies, food it eats, any abilities, what it looks like, defence mechanisms etc, what its waste looks like (pee, poo etc), how does it get its nourishment, and how can you locate and capture it. PS, these are set by the teacher, not me.

Anyone have any ideas of a creature that they'd love to see or have in real life? Please be as detailed and clear as possible. You never know, I might just use your idea (obviously altered or mixed with others etc) and your names onto the credits.

Basically, i need it non "violent" in terms of i cannot show bloodshed. No language can be used by the creature, but yes, I can use genitals etc to show the difference between male and female, or just have colours. (That part i'll decide at the end)

The funny thing is, I have this creative mind and all, but my background isn't in this sort of thing. Mine is the horrible and incredibly alien. I'm not sure you'd want either {A} a deadly abomination or {B} an actual sentient alien who'd object to being captured.

If you're gonna do that, use a 3rd or 4th gen pokemon.

Or just do some cutesy, Spyro-inspired dragon.

The yorufin is an offshoot of the primate family, though where exactly the differentiation occurred is unknown. It is roughly humanoid in shape (being a vertebrate and possessing two gangly arms and legs), stands around three and a half feet tall on average, and is covered in soft gray fur. Well I spent a lot of time in my chidlhood (and some time now) dreaming up imaginary creatures, so I might be able to help you. I'm wondering though, is this creature supposed to fit into an existing ecosystem on earth, or is it part of a complete fantasy ecosystem?
