If the situation came about, that said device was affixed in said place, then presumably he would die.
However such a situation is unlikely to come about and so as a cause of death this is unlikely.

As obligated as I am to turn around and run five miles to escape having to answer this, I laughed so much when I read the OP. This is actually an interesting topic. Depends on whether the Nuke had amounts of Kryponite in it.

Well, a nuke (don't remember which kind) almost kills him in The Dark Knight Returns.
So I would say yes. He would die.
But, in Kingdom Come he takes a pretty good hit at nearly ground zero and all it does it mess his hair and piss him off alot. My friends ... we have a conundrum.

Alot of random threads by newcomers lately.
I noticed that as well. Is it the new trend or have I missed something?
EDIT: Wouldnt Supes just be blown to shreds by a bomb? I know he can survive bullets and rockets but surely a nuclear bomb is just to powerful for him to stand!

Maybe he would... But perhaps those individual shreds would still be alive? Tons of tiny living pieces of Superman? Maybe not sentient pieces, but still considered living, like trees (odd comparison, but neither pieces of a person nor trees can think). I might be taking this too seriously.

Better question is what happens to you if Superman looks at you with XRay vision? I mean they put those lead vests on you for a reason. I think you'd probably start shitting blood and lose all your sperm cells. Maybe he could offer low cost vacectimies...
This just in, Superman, the Man of Steel, has died of Eye Cancer, most likely brought on by his use of X-Rays to see.

Surgeons tried to operate on his eyes while the cancer was still stoppable, but no scalpel could cut the Man of Steel.

R.I.P. Superman...

Would you die if I shoved a nuclear missile up your anus? One can only hope.

That aside, has anyone ever noticed that the saying 'nothing is impossible' means that is possible for something to be impossible?
