So I'm going to make some armour...
I am a LARP-er and, as my character died last event, my new character is going to be a little better protected. As such I have decided to make my own armour (as it's incredibly expensive to buy it from a shop).
I just bought myself 6m of faux ostrich leather off ebay and I plan on making a tabbard-come-jerkin-come-waistcoat type thing which will give me a lovely extra hit of protection on the battlefield.
So here's my question: have you ever attempted something which is destined to fail, but you give it a go anyway.
