During your years in school, have you ever had any really impressive/extraordinary teachers? I have two on my school. My music teacher who plays some damn good guitar in a jazz trio, and my computer teacher who is one hell of a slap bass player. Also, my math teacher rides a motorcycle, which is kind of cool.

(Also, I found this video of my computer teacher)

I had a Maths teacher who was good because he was the kind you could actually get on with as a person instead of despising each other.

I also had a music teacher who became a legend in my school as we found out he used to be Australia's number 1 Gay Bar Singer.

So you want us to talk about any cool teachers we had?
The question said it all. Might seem like one impossible task, but look into your... I don't know, don't think it's heart, but anyway, and you'll see that it's possible.

I have a religion teacher that's bald, American (HUGE accent), either wears leather, or suits, drives a motorbike, likes crazy ties, and for most of the day drinks tea from his signature monkey cup.
His former jobs include: priest, security guard, and he also worked in a prison, but wouldn't say what he was doing there.

Though it wouldn't surprize me if everything he says is a bunch of lies.

Ahem, now that is out of the way, I shall use my 2000th post to describe Mr Cole.
He was my year 5 form tutor, so he taught me for almost every lesson.
He sometimes brought in his electric guitar to play during lessons.

He was also a cartoon artist, and entertained us with his humorous drawings.
Shame his wife passed away recently.

Seeing as I just started the semester, I was really impressed with my rhetoric in western thought teacher... not only have I heard good things about his teaching style, but he seemed excited to teach his class, and got his students more excited about it... Only had one class with him so far, but he seems like someone I could hold as a mentor for the future, even after just one meeting with him.

And there are more than a fair number of attractive female teachers in my college as well... One in front of me right now!

Good stuff, lol, as far as teachers go.

An engineering teacher who is really tall and drives a clasic mini. He got drunk at the prom (I think, I wasn't there) He also got drunk at a pram race, while dressed as a tetris block on boxing day. Oh and he brought in Guitar hero 2 ages ago and let people play during lunch.

That is one cool teacher. Sucks that his wife died.

On another note, congratulations, FMS. You are to be thanked for 2000 funny/serious/sarcastic/troll-destroying posts.

Crap, I forgot the free drumming lessons he gave out, and the fact he showed us 'Look around you' and Bill Bailey during classes.

On topic: Well, most of my teachers were cool. One installed Unreal Tournament on the school computers and invited us to play one fucking huge LAN party. He later installed Crackdown, Rainbow Six 3: Raven Shield, Starcraft and Age of Empire 2.

Is it weird that I hang out with my 7th grade French teacher on occasion? (She was VERY young when she taught me.)

One of my professors was apparently the father of Professor Badass (Kevin Stewart sounds so boring), from the looks of him. Anyway, he had a drill instructor style of teaching, which made things stick the first time.
