I actually hope that ME3 is a no win scenario. That no matter what Shepard does, the reapers win.
That could be really gripping and bittersweet if done right. And then it flashes ahead 50,000 years to show that for all of the resistance Shepard put up, no one can break the cycle.
It would be very good if done right, or as one of the possible endings but I doubt it. One reason; no room for story extending DLC. (Apart from obligatory 'spare suits' nonsense)

Sure, the Geth fleet butt raped an Asari Dreadnaught,
I dunno. The Ascension survived (or resisted for an extended period, depending) a sustained attack by a whole Geth Fleet despite being taken completely by surprise and having to ignore the attack to evacuate civilians. I'd say it aquitted itself quite well just by not instantly imploding.

I'd like to see it get involved in a proper stand up fight, one where it didn't have to start with it's hands tied behind it's back.

Using reconstituted Omni-gel sprayers on the Reapers to turn 'em into something more useful. Like, coal. Would be pretty nifty, eh?

The rachni will evolve some sort of bio-titan, a reaper made of flesh and full of tentacles. It does unspeakable things to the reapers, and any survivors flee to darkspace as fast as they possibly can.
I think he has the right idea. I think the rachni will come back. From the depths of space the swarm will come, taking this tiny period of time to reproduce to an insane level. The queen detected it was the last remaining and shifted breeding into overdrive. Twenty worlds pump put rachni at an onscene rate, billions apon billions of bioships descend on the reapers. The great devourer aproaches. Sacrificing all of its kind it swarms the reapers, killing them ironically by literally crushing them with life.

Conversely, we gather EVERY biotic ever. And link them, like in ME1 with the mind sharing. The resultant god conciousness would tackle the reapers. We link them all to jack. Let the rage go through the power of several billion biotics and the reapers are fried.

Challenge them to a Dance off...I'll pick Legion as my first choice for that battle!

The most likely scenario, i think, is that ME3 will be a series of Shepard going on missions to create, piece by piece, technology that can introduce a virus into the Reapers A.I.

The more exciting option would be to have her pilot a Mech and go nutshit on them with a four hundred foot long C'Tan Phaze-Sword...

3 ways
1 use a magic super ultra thing to power up my adraline rush (or charge for my vanguard)
2 the same way as i got rid of our rogue spectre with words.
or 3 unite all of the aliens and save the galaxy and bring in a new golden age of awesome.

By using a really really big bomb. Just you wait. If not that, then some magical McGuffin future tech designed to kill them.

Have the geth hack their systems while the Quarians hold them off with ships. The Turians and Krogan take out ground forces. The Asari and Salarians use Biotics to assist both sides.

In order to do this I must have maxed out my paragon level.
We may find that in me3 our Shep's may have to staddle the neutral line as if you are predicting comes true, we would have to persuade so many species/political group/factions, you'll most likely have to do mini missions with para/rege highlights.

MY theory is that the orthodox Geth repel them (look at the codex entries after Legion's loyalty quest, you'll find that there are a bazillion friendly Geth just floating around in space)

That or, y'know, bully them into suicide (worked on Saren)

Use the collector base to reverse engineer some understanding of reaper weakness and PRESS IT HARD!

I'd try and starve them to death. The reapers are going the long way round and have no way to get to the galaxy (that Bioware has told us of). Just keep 'em taking the long way round and by the time we have to fight a real battle, they'll be significantly weaker.

I'd like to think ME3 will be a no win scenario, reapers simply come and crush everything in front of them despite all the effort of the entire galaxy... But of course that's never going to happen. I don't really know what the strategy will be but I'm content to wait and be surprised.

I have a weird idea that the Keepers will somehow be freed from their constraints and used to disassemble the Reapers, that would be kind of cool. Probably not though...

My theory is that it'll have something to do with Haestrom's sun. Why introduce something as being so major and then just drop it, afterall?

No idea how it will happen in game to kill fully grown ones. But I just know that dieing star in Mass Effect 2 will come in to play.

I would go cyber warfare style and use a virus to cuase there fusion plants to go into meltdown.
