I'd send Shepard with a team of asari martiarchs, all high on the biotic enhancers from ME2 and Singularity all the Reapers into each other.
Dead Reapers can orbit black holes for millions of years. Nothing short of being on top of a black hole would put them down.

The whole "use a virus" thing wouldn't work for the Reapers. Sovereign said something along the lines of each Reaper being a single entity that is independent. The way I see it, that means your virus might only work on a single Reaper.

I don't know for certain, but if it was that easy then the Protheans would probably still be around regardless of the sneak attack that took them down at the Citadel.

Shepard used Solarbeam! Critical Hit! Reaper Fleet's Super-Effective! Reaper Fleet fainted! You won 1500 credits!

I like the one where the Mass Relays are used as railguns. That'd be pretty sweet.

Being able to orbit stuff isn't really that amazing - it's just a gravity well - if you're not beyond the event horizon, there's really nothing stopping you from orbiting it.

Seeing how they're machines I'd just carpetbomb them with EMP weapons. Sure the digital infrastructure would be messed up but it'd be worse off if the reapers were allowed to run their course.
EMPs are not a magic bullet against robots. Magnetic shielding exists, and *Spoilers* the Reapers are partly organic! */Spoilers*
If EMPs existed, they'd most like kill people, too, since we run on electric impulses.

EMPs do exist...

If I remember correctly, a burst of EMP, even if powerful enough to disrupt our electrical system, wouldn't kill a human being. What generates electrical impulses in our bodies is not in itself electrical, so a health person should be able to resync themselves afterwards.

probably spend 20-30 hours cruising the galaxy convincing all the faction to help me(i have this guy who can cure your fertility problems, why won't you come live on mars? yes we will help you build a giant ball in space, remember how i saved you from extinction?) and then i will fight the avatar of the reaper leader and can summon squads of my allies troops.

But what i really want is the option to save humanity by making a deal with the reapers and becoming the personality of the human reaper. then i want to kill every other being in the galaxy, especially the turian counselor

Easy. Zerg rush them with Krogan and Rachni troops. We'll just re-genophage the krogan afterwards and bam! Happily ever after.

Ship-to-ship engagements O_O I want so bad

Or you know, space-fight missions in the style of project sylpheed. I loved that game. story sucked, but just the style was awesome.

Im going with the "He/she was having psychic visions so the truth is gonna be revealed in that and its probably safe to say there is an arc somewhere that has a kill switch and about 6 hours of dialogue telling you who made them and why,"

No, that was Sovereign. Harbinger still exists.

Lure Reapers to Earth.

Collapse Sun into a black hole.

Profit.
Aww but that'd destroy the solar system.
I like the solar system, it's where I keep all my stuff.

I'm honestly convinced that Bioware is going to pull a fast one on us, and have us defeat the Reapers with the Dark Energy that everyone spent so much of ME2 harping on about.

I simply can't see another way we're going to beat the Reapers - not a fleet that big. If Bioware's not going to kill them off with dark energy, then it's going to have a hell of a time finding another plausible reason for us to be able to kill the bastards.

Ive been building an army. The Geth, The Rachnai, The Quarians, The Krogen (At least Clan Urdnot.), The Shadow Broker, The Human Systems Alliance, and the Council all got my back. Cerberus not so much.
Thing is though, Bioware's got to find a conclusion that's universally plausible, and beating the crap out of them with your giant army won't help the people who blew off all their potential allies, or never played the first two games o_O

I doubt that those armies will receive more than a somewhat lengthy cameo, at best.

Except that the sun doesn't have enough mass to create a black hole. Curse you, physics!

The solution is simple:

MORE COWBELL.
This, on the other hand, is a workable solution.
